We had a two room suite for me and 2 teenage sons. Room had queen bed, fold-out sofa bed and we asked for roll-away bed as well. There was a kitchen and dining area, 2 TVs and desk area. There was a small deck attached to the room where you could step outside. Room was clean and well maintained. Maids...

Location is perfect. It is a short walk to all venues with a lot of restaurants close by . Rooms are surprisingly quiet, and we were upgraded at no charge. The small balcony and was a nice touch. We will return again.

Arrived early and was checked in without any trouble and given a free upgrade to a one bedroom suite (probably too big for me- but still nice)! Staff was very helpful, providing me with all necessary info regarding free breakfast, free wifi and use of the facilities in hotel. Were also very helpful when I asked for directions. Room was...

A wonderful basic hotel close to everything, L'Appartement Hotel offers a good value for your money plus it had a balcony which never happens. It was so nice especially after a long trip to stand out there and take in the city lights. We stayed in a studio suite, which came equipped with small dining table and a kitchen. The...

Stayed for three nights and found it well priced and decent. It is not 5 star but then again neither am I. Location is great so close to McGill etc.. Grocery stores and shopping were easy. Great to be able to cook in kitchen. Only one elevator was functioning which meant line-ups. Definitely wll consider booking it again.

We really enjoyed our stay in our apartment in this hotel and thought it was excellent value for money. Really liked the balcony with its view across to Mont Royal. Extremely well equipped. The kitchennete had a full sized oven and a fridge/freezer. There was a TV in the living room and in the bedroom. There were plenty of pillows....

This was our first time in Montreal, and this hotel is located very centrally. There is a grocery store a block away, so having a mini kitchen was perfect. It's near McGil Univeristy and multiple museums. We got the 3 day transit pass and the hotel is near the bus stop that goes to Mont Royal. The hotel is also...

L'Appartement hotel is a good, basic hotel in the heart of Montreal. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment which was great for us as we were travelling with two young kids. The only slight disappointment was that both rooms were doubles and when asked whether we could make one up as a twin for the kids, we were refused.......

Great location and staff, very helpful. Downtown, right on Sherbrooke Street, the main street of the island of Montreal. Right next to McGill University, one of America's best universities in English, counting a high percentage of foreign students. Near museums, Ste Catherine Street for shopping. Breakfast is included with a good selection!

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighborhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colorful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
