Like the indoor pool and fitting room. Very close to the other museums and Mcgill university. Breakfast is good. But it would be better if the bacon can be included in it. The staffs are very nice. Would recommend for family visit.

We could not have booked a better oho tell. from the time we checked In to the time we checked out everything was super, very clean hotel including common areas and rooms. The breakfast was quite good with everything you would want. The front desk pele could not have been more helpful or courteous especially the weekend staff. Any question...

Did not know what to expect when we arrived. Just wanted hotel to sleep nothing else as we had a full itinerary. The hotel was a pleasant surprise especially for the value. The saying 1st impression lasting impression, this holds true. From the minute we arrived the front desk personnel could not have been any more friendly or accommodating. They...

This was our first visit to Montreal. We chose L'Appartement Hotel because of its close location to McGill University, downtown, bus stops and museums. The location is perfect for walking around downtown. Our suite had a separate bedroom with one bed, a living room with a pullout couch, kitchen with fridge, stove, full stocked dishes and dining table area. We...

We stayed in a one bedroom suite with a sofabed in the living room, a dining area, and a kitchenette. It was wonderful to have space to walk around instead of being stuck in a standard hotel single room with two double beds. The decor is simple; the suite was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My two...

As others have said, the decor here is dated. But its a great little hotel, everything is well maintained. Quiet. Lots of families. Nice little pool and binary gendered saunas. I think all the rooms have a full kitchen, which is amazing, even in my smallest cheapest room (which was not small at all!) Has a little balcony which I...

From the beginning our experience was positive. Friendly staff at front desk. My son was lucky to receive a Greating Gift. The hotel is old but clean. Great location. You can walk almost to any attractions or restaurant nearby. Chinatown 10min walk, Old Montreal 15 min, Quartier des spectacles 5 min. Breakfast is free and generous. Parking is 20$ the...

We stayed here for four nights during a rather cold spell in the city. Yes, the place is a little out of date and the furniture could be more stylish. But it all worked and was comfortable enough. The location was good with the metro/subway within a short walk away. Vieux Montréal is also not far on foot –but it...

Great staff, they were very accomodating and were given an extra hour for late checkout no issues. One bedroom suite really spacious, extremely clean, no noise whatsoever. Will definitely stay again! Perhaps the furnishings seem a little dated but extremely well kept. Great supplies in the kitchenette, great choice of toiletries also.

We traveled with 5 people in two suites (1 2-bedroom suite and a single suite). The suites are very large and have good enough (not luxury) furniture. The 2 bedroom suite has a shared bathroom - just like an apartment (which these essentially are). The location is very convenient for downtown, and the Rue Sherbrooke buses are very close by...

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighborhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colorful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
