We usually choose to stay here. Booked two rooms to come for a funeral with our kids We specifically booked a kitchen room so we could have ease of food prep and eating during the pandemic We arrived to be told they did not have our room type that we booked. The woman at the desk wad rude and un accommodating. The entire floor stank and the rooms were dirty, dusty and obviously not cleaned as advertised Wont choose this as an option Again
Five of us stayed at the Hotel for three nights and were very satisfied. The rooms were clean, the mattress comfortable and shower and toilet areas functional, clean and well maintained. The breakfast food at their Eggspectation lower floor restaurant had ethnic variety, tasted very good and was well presented with excellent service.Their omelettes, crepes and eggchilada wrap were outstanding. One can easily skip lunch after eating their breakfasts. The parking was easy and on hotel property.
I stayed here for one week on a business trip. I don't believe the 4star hotel rating is consistent or of the caliber with other hotels of the same rating I have stayed in. The staff was so unwelcoming and sometimes even rude. The rooms were very dark, the television difficult to use and the cleaning service only made the bed. One bright spot was the bar/restaurant where the two female wait staff were full of energy and friendly. The location was convenient to the office I was working in but I would stay further out regardless next time. Disappointing.
Fourth stay. Taken aback by lack of friendliness and total absence of a welcome when checking in. Just unfriendly. Mediocre rooms with very basic amenities and towels. Most accommodating staff member on site is the waiter in the breakfast restaurant. Not anxious to return even though location is convenient.
This hotel with the funny sounding name is a lovely hotel located in a part of Montréal known as The Triangle. It is on Boul. (Autoroute) Décarie, a major road. There are many restaurants nearby as well as a Walmart. It is about 20 minutes from Old Montréal. The Metro station is about 5 minutes walk and cabs are plentiful. If going to Old Montréal it is best not to drive because the roads are one big traffic jam and the narrow streets in Old Montréal discourage on-street parking. There is also a quaint shopping district called Monkland Village about 10 minutes away with metered street parking and a variety of stores and restaurants. Hotel parking is in a lot adjacent to the hotel. It is ticket access controlled but the desk clerk will provide a ticket which gets you in and out during your entire stay. Parking is 22$ per day. Luggage carts are provided. The hotel has two restaurants but we didn’t use either. There is also a swimming pool open until September. Our room was nice sized and the lighting in the bath area was excellent. Not so much for the room itself. There is a vanity mirror that swivels which my spouse loved. She has already told me I have to get one for our master bath at home. Bath towels are large and very absorbent. There is plenty of hot water. The bed is comfortable. The TV has several channels but is slow to go from one channel to the next and there is no program guide to tell you what shows are on. A fridge is provided but no m’wave. Vending machines are on 3 of the four floors but the selection is poor. The entire staff is very polite and helpful. A Concierge is available. We spent four nights here. This is a definite spot for us when we return. …
