We stayed at this apartment for 3 nights during the thanksgiving weekend. We had our 2 kids with us - 12 and 15. The apartment was well decorated, modern and exceptionally clean. Thought it was small for the four of us, we enjoyed our time there. The bathroom was beautiful! You can not beat the location - we go the Montreal a lot and we love to stay in the Plateau area. I would recommended this place for couples.

From the time we arrived at Plateau Suites until we left, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Luke is a wonderful host and was there when we arrived to give us keys and to acclimate us. The apartment was clean and perfect for us. The bed was really comfortable, and we were happy to have the cooktop and fridge in the kitchen. Plateau Suites is just down from the Metro, so you can get anywhere around Montreal very easily. We recommend the apartment at the back since you won't hear any traffic and it's the larger of the two apartments. We highly recommend Plateau Suites. Very affordable as well.

We stayed at this apartment for a week and it was perfect! Excellent location, super quiet but close to Metro, convenience stores and trendy Mont-Royal cafés, restaurants and shopping.
Apartment is spacious, with contemporary and functional design. Very comfy bed with different weights of blankets (it was fall when we were here so not very cold, also had air conditioning and ceiling fans). Bathroom was spotless, had plenty of shelving space, a great shower, bath, and the underfloor heating was an awesome bonus.
Kitchen is well planned and had all appliances we needed to prepare meals when we wanted too and included a kettle! Rooms are bright and sunny, with good quality curtains to block out sunrise if necessary, balcony with small table and chairs gives some outdoor space. Washing machine and dryer available too.
Luke is very welcoming and provided advice for location of amenities which was very reliable. It was a central location and we found it easy to both walk or catch the Metro to places of interest in Montreal. This has been one of the best places we have stayed in during our quite extensive travels.

The other reviews say it all and I agree 100%. We had the rear suite and enjoyed the extra space. We were able to see the front suite after the other guests left. Either one would be fine for a couple. If we go with our teen age kids (one boy16 and one girl18) these suites will not be big enough. We parked our car on the street right out side the door for the two days we were there and just walked or used the metro. Safe quiet neighborhood.

We stayed in the second floor street facing apartment for almost a week. The unit was immaculate. It was like having a little slice of Europe all around you. The flat has been recently finished with laminate flooring and elegant modern European fixtures in the bathroom. Bathroom also featured a headed floor, skylight, and warming lamp. There was a convenient dressing area between the bedroom and the bathroom. Bedroom featured a queen size bed with beautiful linens, a TV (cable) mounted on the wall , and swing out windows that looked onto the street. There was an air conditioner in the bedroom that cooled the entire flat. The sitting/ eating area outside the bedroom was small but functional for two. Included a small fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee maker. Table for two. The small balcony had two chairs for a leisurely glass of wine after a day of touring. There is a washer and dryer in the upstairs landing that we were encouraged to use if we needed. Luke, the host was most gracious, friendly but not intrusive.
A five minute walk from the Metro. Quaint little grocery shops within walking distance and Premier Moisson bakery around the corner, not to be missed.
Best feature: Location, comfort.
Least liked: Parking? (not sure as we took the train), lack of a full stove, although for a few dollars more, the rear unit has a full kitchen.

Suite 1 was perfect for our 4 day visit. Located close to the Metro station for convenience and in a quiet neighbourhood with lots to offer.... walking distance to many areas of interest. Suite is quiet and comfortable although as pictured - kitchen is small - good for breakfast and lunch prep as long as you keep it simple.

We arrived in Montreal and took bus 747 ($10) from the Airport to the first Metro Station (Lionel-Groulx). We got on the metro and took the Orange Line to the Laurier Station. We went outside the station and walked about 100 yards and arrived at Plateau Suites. You do have to go out the correct Metro door to be on the street that Plateau Suites is on.

We arrived late into the evening (after dark) and Luke met us at the door. It was a little difficult to see his street address but you only have to do that once and after that there is no problem!

The suite, as others have mentioned, was very nice and spacious for the price. It had everything we needed. We didn't utilize much of the kitchen because of our hectic schedule but it was nice to have had we spent more time in Montreal.

We were a couple and we enjoyed Plateau Suites Montreal. You could have another person there, no problem but the futon is in the kitchen area. But if you are just looking for a place to sleep it shouldn't be a problem having 3 people or 2 adults and two small children.

We booked this place because Luke has two stand alone suites with nearly the same configuration--suite and bathroom. We were travelling with family. They did not end up coming but we were still glad we found this place and would stay there in the future if we were even in Montreal again.

It is located directly down the street from the Laurie Metro Station.

It is located 2 long blocks from Mont Royal Avenue where you will find lots of restaurants and a grocery store for water etc.

When we had the window open, we could hear some neighbors (it was a Saturday night). Once we closed the windows we didn't hear anything. That or use earplugs if it were necessary. The second night wasn't a problem.

We would recommend it and we would stay there again if in Montreal.

"If you plan to mostly eat out and there are 1-2 people, Ste. 1 is sufficient. The sitting room was rather small, but the bedroom was quite spacious. If you want something a bit larger, go for Ste. 2."
