This hotel makes for an excellent stop over hotel when flying out of Montreal, the hotel is about 3 mins from the airport and with shuttle service there is no problem getting you there with lots of time to spare, we stayed over in January on our way to Cuba and had to check out and be at the airport... I loved staying here and it is hard to get a bad room. All are loft size and have dining spaces, living spaces and bedrooms spaces. Some rooms have extra large bathrooms, so ask if you need one, some rooms have small bathrooms. one side has views of the city another side views of an alley, but if you are... More

The room we got on the 6th floor (loft 611) was huge, extremely well decorared, the bed was super comfy, the location of the hotel is absolutely perfect if you're planning to see a show...the only point keeping me from giving a 5 stars is that the curtains doesn't cut the light at all, it's too bright even at night... A little off of the tourist stretch. Where more locals can be found. Excellent dining options up the street. And the Old Port down the street. Bike paths lead right to this hotel. And walking to the main tourist attractions is easy or the metro is a very short walk to bring you all over the city. Excellent space in... More

Stayed here on business in the summer. Was utterly surprised/amazed by the sheer size of the rooms - litterally larger than most apartments! Very clean, very modern, full kitchen, dining room and salon. No view. This is a recommissioned building and they have done some very impressive things with it. Bathroom was also great. This is a hidden gem in... More

Our room was clean, comfortable and huge. Well furnished with comfortable leather furniture and large bed. The bathroom was spacious and well planned with a huge shower. There was no noise from the road or surrounding areas other than the guest upstairs who wore concrete flip flops. As the rooms have laminate flooring you can imagine the noise. Fortunately she... I stayed with a friend at the Loft a couple of nights during September. First of all I must talk about the best feature of this boutique/alternative hotel, the LOCATION is phenomenal, easy walking distance to main point of interest and with a plethora of bars and restaurants literally just meters way. We were greeted with a warm welcome and... More

First, I would have given 4 stars but our stay at Loft started wrong. Booked 3 months in advance, advised a few weeks after booking that a 3rd person was joining -us - we needed loft w/ separate sleeping areas. Upon arrival we graciously paid for 3rd person but young girl at desk kept saying she was doing us a... More

This hotel, located in the city center was way above my expectations. The loft is superb, very clean and comfortable. The staff has been amazing to me and i will stay there without a doubt next time i will come to Montreal. Many thanks for contributing to make this 5 days the most rewarding of an 8 month trip around... More

I stayed here for business (and my company had an event in the building). The hotel was simple but modern, clean and chic, my room was 603 and was the largest hotel room I have ever stayed in (900 square feet). It was a clean room, but huge, with a full-size dinner table with seating for 6. My only complaint... More

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theaters, and exhibition centers are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
