My family had two rooms at Le St-Martin Hotel Particulier. We stayed for one night after finishing up a cruise in Montreal. Since we arrived in the morning the rooms were understandably not ready. Staff held our luggage so we could explore the city until checkin time. The location was ideal for us. A short walk from the cruise terminal, while also convenient to tons of stores and restaurants Downtown and good access to public transport. It is also just a few blocks from the McGill University campus. The rooms were beautifully appointed with great attention to detail. Sliding doors and a full window separated the bedroom from bathroom so guests can have a view or privacy as they wish. There were many amenities that appear to be good quality. There was also a microwave and small fridge that we used (the latter to heat up leftover pizza from dinner for breakfast). Perhaps it was the location of our room (408), but throughout the night I heard constant water being recycled. It couldn’t have been someone’s shower or toilet because it never stopped. I never figured out what it was. Finally, I want to give a big shoutout to a few staff members at the hotel who provided us with top notch service. Rosalie at the reception was very warm and welcoming at checkin. She offered us bottled water while waiting for our rooms. She was a pleasure to deal with and was patient with me while I spoke what little French I knew. (-: Another staff member to mention is Gingo from valet. He put our luggage in storage until rooms were ready and later brought the bags to our respective rooms. He was also very kind and pleasant as well. While I do not remember his name, the doorman on duty the evening of our visit gave us some restaurant suggestions for dinner. We took his advice and went to a nearby eatery that served a nice meal after a long day in the city. Before booking our room at Le St-Martin Hotel Particulier, I did a lot of research on hotels where we could have stayed that one night. I was confident after deciding to stay here and am happy I stuck with that decision.

Excellent boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Montreal. Walking distance to all the main streets and restaurants. The room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. I didn’t get a chance to eat at the restaurant but the menu looked good. All the staff were very friendly. I will stay here again!!

Hotel Staff are so friendly and very helpful. Location, Location, Location , Across the street from the Metro. Once block from Peel, and close to Crescent St. The water and the fruit juices on race days were a very nice touch, By far the Best Hotel Experience I've had in the past 5 years.

Really lovely hotel with stunning rooms and the staff were very friendly. Ideal location for sightseeing, bars and restaurants. We arrived on the day of the Grand Prix and the atmosphere was electric, it really was the highlight of our 3 days here. Breakfast was delicious and it was nice to be served at the table rather than a buffet meal!

The hotel is quaint but not too small which we like. Everyone on the staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was a good size and immaculate, as was the bathroom. We loved everything about the hotel, especially the lovely little lobby and bar. There is a Metro stop right across the street so getting around was easy. Highly recommend!

The staff at this hotel are lovely and the room was exactly how it was marketed. my only comment would be that I wish they had an option to pre-order coffee or breakfast to your room the day before. I didn't end up eating at the restaurant but it did appear to be popular. I was with my 2 girls who are 11 and 12 years old and they absolutely loved the pool. It's not big but the space is great. Overall the service was great and the location was fantastic, if you are looking to be within walking distance to old Montréal (about 25-30mins) or shopping then this is your spot!
