The hotel is quite nice and the staff is friendly. The location is very convenient near McGill. The hotel gym is somewhat small as is the swimming pool. Overall is a nice place to stay in Montreal and I would consider booking a room there again.

Very pleased with our experience. A clean, modern hotel with exceptionally friendly staff who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. As we were attending a rock concert at the Bell Centre, we were heavily dressed up (some would say we looked "scary"). This in no way affected the quality of service from the staff (don't judge... The rooms were clean and well kept, and the location was very central which made it easy to get to different parts of the city. The only disappointing part was the pool which is super small and didn't have room for any sunbathing chairs. Overall had a pleasant experience.

This was a really nice hotel. Conveniently located near downtown which has the beat stopping on st. Catherine street. It is also in waliing distance to old Montreal, if you like to walk. Will definitely return next year.

Hotel was beautiful. Rooms were elegantly appointed. We stayed in a room w an electric fireplace & panoramic Windows. Great room size. Welcoming front desk staff. Doormen/bellmen were very helpful & pleasant. Parking was very easy if you use their valet service - parking was a bit on the expensive side which is the only flaw. Highly recommend this hotel... I was in Montreal for the jazz festival with a woman friend of mine. We had a lovely double room--two queens and, as an added treat, double sinks! I highly recommend the hotel. It was an easy walk to the festival, but not too close. The staff is gracious and helpful. The restaurant next door is fabulous (amazing salmon lunch... More

Stayed here as part of jazz festival package. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and welcoming from the minute walked in the door. We stayed in this hotel for 6 nights, and absolutely enjoyed our stay there! The room was very clean, new, and comfortable. The service was excellent as well. On the other hand the location is wonderful, it's close to shoppings, restaurants, and metro station. Overall it's for sure a very nice hotel to stay in Montreal.

Wonderful hotel in a great location. Within walking distance to great cafes, restaurants and shopping. Rooms are modern and very clean. We had a king room with a shower and single sink. A lovely hotel in a central location to just about anywhere. Service was solid, always polite and available but not in your way. Room decor was clean, tasteful, and relaxed at the same time. Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighborhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
