This hotel goes beyond what most hotels provide at the same price/luxury point. There was a fruit plate waiting for us and a box of house made chocolate too. The room was larger than what I last stayed in at the St. Regis, a comparable hotel. The staff was friendly and we received two free drink coins at arrival. Wow. I hope to make a return trip someday.

From the moment we arrived we were treated exceptionally well. The staff was outstanding and all very friendly. We had a fantastic dinner that night with wine pairing. Loved our room and all the outstanding amenities. I would highly recommend staying and experiencing the Ritz!!

The hotel’s historic building is deceiving at first glance with an older appearance in today’s hotel trend of sleek modernity. But the personal services and beautifully appointed rooms make up for it. We got first class attention throughout our Easter week visit from concierge Anne-Marie who made restaurant choices that were spot on. From haute cuisine to a cool, new Middle Eastern spot named “Shay” which was a most unique and modern culinary take on classic dishes. And special gratitude to hotel manager Christina, who made a significant impact, from shopping recommendations to very special attention. The hotel dining is excellent with sumptuous breakfasts and an elegant Champagne bar right off the lobby. We’ll definitely be back— maybe for Formula1 week next year!

Just wrapped up a 3-night stay at this property. It's rare that I can say a hotel stay was perfect in every single respect, but this one truly was. I cannot think of a single thing that could have been better. From the outstanding condition of our suite, to the pre-arrival phone call, to the delicious food and drink. Every request was fulfilled within a matter of minutes. Flawless execution with an endearing smile, every time. Whoever manages this hotel deserves the very highest accolades and should write books for the hospitality industry. The men and women who work here have been expertly selected and truly care about what experience they bring to the guests. The entire Ritz Carlton group of hotels needs to look at this Montreal location as the gold standard and shining example of what they all should seek to achieve.

This is an amazing hotel. From arrival to departure service was splendid. Day before I arrived I received an email to confirm my arrival time and if I preferred sweet or salty treats. The front desk were always super helpful in answering any questions. Room was divine and luxury at its finest. Had 1 issue with bathroom floor not heating properly and they immediately sent someone up who fixed it in 15 minutes. Amazing hotel!

Fantastic customer service. Enjoyed a junior suite. Large spacious room with a great bathroom and bed. Very nice fitness center, indoor rooftop pool and afternoon tea. The spa was short on amenities, but we had a great couples massage. The restaurant was also excellent. What makes it so special is the exemplary customer service.

We often travel to Montreal and there is truly nothing like a stay at The Ritz! From when you first drive up, until you leave, the service is pretty much exceptional and friendly. The rooms are extremely well appointed and the beds very comfortable. They have a pillow menu to choose options if you don't like the pillow they chose for you - however, they do call to ask your preference prior to arrival. They sent up treats for the adults and kids to make us feel welcome and included robes in various sizes for all. When the kids unfortunately caught covid and had to stay in, they sent up popcorn and ice cream for them to enjoy while watching movies. It is these not so small gestures that make the difference in a hotel stay and show what true 5 star service should be. The bathroom is quite large with a HUGE soaking tub with a tv. The restaurant on site is Maison Boulud and the service and food there match the hotel perfectly. However, our only complaint is that Maison Boulud is closed on Sundays and Mondays and instead you are having breakfast and meals in the Palm Court. An absolutely beautiful room but with horrifically subpar service. I'm sure it's fine for drinks when not in a rush but for meals they were definitely understaffed and the staff that was there was not at all properly trained. We had breakfast included in our room and actually left one morning after waiting an hour for food and went to a nearby restaurant. This is shocking given this is run by the actual hotel and is definitely a blemish on an otherwise perfect stay. The rooftop pool is great and a wonderful reprieve on a hot summer day/evening. The gym is beautiful and well appointed and maintained. All in all, I think this is The Number One Hotel in Montreal. We can't wait to return!

Where do I begin? We pulled up and immediately were met by the valet to empty our car. We checked in and walked into one of the most immaculate places I've ever been to. The room was gorgeous, but certainly not your typical nice hotel. There was definitely an old world charm to the place. A walk-in closet and the bathroom! The bathroom! The bathroom! A heated toilet seat and heated floors! The shower was large enough for 4 people. Any question or concern that we had was answered immediately. I trekked around in the city and got my shoes muddy and took advatage of the shoe shine service. The concierge sent up someone immediately and in 15 minutes my shoes were taken and returned once I opened the door for the night turndown. The shoes were cleaner than when I came to the hotel. Overall, this was an amazing, amazing stay! I still think about that bathroom sometimes......
