We had planned a vacation to celebrate our anniversary in Montreal and searched for the perfect hotel... The staff couldn’t have been better, beautiful accommodations and then access to everything!... After a very special and warm reception at check in, Michael took us up to our room and presented a card welcoming us next to a chilled bottle of Prosecco... The room, a deluxe king, had plenty of space... It’s a Smart room where lights are controlled with buttons and a main device on the wall... They even have a Nespresso machine in the room... I used the exercise facilities which are spacious and honor their love of hockey with a framed Canadiens jersey and a magazine cover featuring a Canadian Olympic hockey victory... The entrance is the actual house or residence which has rooms upstairs used for events...

...Upon arrival at my room, I was shocked by how small it was... Rather than apologize for ruining my shower and evening right before bed, the front desk got defensive and explained how the turndown service forgot to stock the room with towels, etc... I then raised the issue of the size of the room and was literally told by the front desk attendant that next time I should book directly with the hotel and not with a third party, as the nicer rooms are held back for their regular guests!...

So I could not have the bedside lights on all by themselves: I also had to have the under-bed and overhead indirect lights on as well...

Lovely hotel and very friendly and attentive staff. They greeted me by name when I would return from an outing... Everything was beautiful, in working order, and clean... This is a beautiful hotel that is in the middle of everything... This ranged from the valets and lobby staff to even the room service lady (I wish I had her name) who attended to our floor (9th)... The bathrooms were the cleanest we'd ever found... The Toto toilet was like a friend since whenever you walked up, it would auto-open to welcome you back, and it also had a range of features that I wish I had in my own home (maybe one day)... Everything was charming and comfortable in the rooms... The hallway carpets were clean, and it all smelled fresh as you would expect... However, about 20 seconds up the street is a beautiful restaurant/bar and if needed, you could go there and have a cocktail... This is all within 1-2 blocks of the Ritz and the Four Seasons...

...The room was modern, clean and so comfortable... The location is perfect as we walked to the Centre Bell for a hockey game and went shopping on Ste-Catherine’s street... I highly recommend Le Mount Stephen...

...After some research on hotels, we settled on Le Mount Stephen— what a great decision... Very European feel, clean city, people were very friendly and helpful and beautifully decorated for Christmas... Historic entrance way housing the restaurant / bar and very modern tower building where all the rooms are... The rooms were spacious and extremely modern, as well as being well appointed and supplied... The concierge and front desk team truly took an interest in our visit and genuinely wanted us to enjoy our vacation and make the most out of exploring Montreal... The advice and recommendations they offered us, from local cafes to get morning coffee, to attractions, to restaurants, they were always informative and gave us options tailored to what we wanted... The restaurant / bar was also very cool— good food in a historic setting, and they are very accommodating to hotel guests...

Lovely hotel and very friendly and attentive staff. They greeted me by name when I would return from an outing... Everything was beautiful, in working order, and clean... Also, the lights, curtains, and room temperature were not controlled at the source, but from a wall panel with a menu; and the lights were controlled in groups... So I could not have the bedside lights on all by themselves: I also had to have the under-bed and overhead indirect lights on as well... The bar is a happening place in the evenings with a waiting line to get in...

My wife and I stayed here and we had a wonderful experience... The concierge noticed our flight was delayed, contacted the restaurant and worked together to ensure we could be seated... The hotel has a beautiful interior and exterior but the staff’s white glove service really set it apart from other 5 star hotels...

...I especially appreciated the many lighting options and the Night setting, which included dim lights under the bed and in the bathroom, so you could find your way safely with no sleep interruption - brilliant! Beds are extremely comfortable, storage is plentiful, and blackout blind operates remotely... The concierge had a comprehensive knowledge of the city, and directed us to interesting places near our planned lunch spot that we would otherwise not have found...

The hotel's entry, restaurant and bar are in a beautiful 19th century mansion, with the rooms and other personnel are in a modern tower seamlessly attached... It had several features I had never seen... While the lighting isn't warm, it's plentiful and is controlled easily to create different moods with a central control panel...
