I stayed in this hotel last year and selected it for stay this year as well. I found everything fine in this hotel: clean rooms, good service, and friendly faces. The price I paid (I had a special conference rate) was acceptable for me for the quality and convenience of the hotel location. If I should travel to Montreal next...

Our room was clean and comfortable. The tub had been replaced with a roomy shower, which was lovely, except for the changeable water temp. The hotel is attached to the adjacent convention center, sparing us a walk thru the snow. The a la carte menu is a better value at breakfast, compared to the buffet. Refills on coffee are a bit...

I had a long stay here with my husband and dog. The hotel staff was excellent and responded very quickly to any requests. We stayed in various rooms and all were spacious and clean. Breakfast was great and staff there friendly as well. Room service is excellent, order the chicken, it's really good! Valet was reliable, only twice did I...

My husband and I stayed at the Westin in Montreal not realizing how great the location was until we pulled back the drapes and saw the Notredame. Besides the fact the beds are super comfy, the rooms spacious and the usual great service from a spg hotel, it is 3 blocks away from old town rue st.paul where all.the best...

For the good part, the hotel is at a very convenient location, close to subway station and close to old port, which I like a lot and that's also the main reason why I booked it. The room is decent although I was expecting a little bit more space with the price I paid(I decided to pay for the hotel...

Without staying at the hotel this time, I attended an international meeting, and was boeled over by the organisation, the service, the food catered for meals as well as snacks during breaks. The dining room with its double height ceiling and the service by staff were truly outstanding .

The meals we wanted were not on the room service menu but no matter, they were on the Gazette restaurant menu and the bartender offered to have it delivered to our room. Quick and excellent service, fantastic food, fabulous location makes this hotel one of our favourites in Montreal. Add to this, the best thing about the Westin are the...

I often stay here on my frequent biz trips to Montreal. Rooms are modern and spacious. Location is close to the metro and convenient for both the business district and Old Montreal. Great gym. Rooms are generally clean although on my last visit there were some cleaning materials left in the room and it had a "rushed job" feel. Not...

Staying in Quartier International

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier International
Designed to connect and beautify unused space, today the Quartier International is like a transversal piece of modern art. The distinctive design flair is most apparent at its focal point, the Palais des Congres, a convention center and retail space with a multi-colored glass exterior and an equally bold interior motif. Outdoors too, the Quartier is friendly towards public art exhibits along its stylish, plotted city squares, with extra-wide sidewalks meant to encourage long strolls and shaded benches available for absorbing the atmosphere. Fresh air and promenades characterize the area, from the foliage of Victoria Square to the fountain of Place Jean-Paul Riopelle, while the restaurants along Rue Saint-Antonie Ouest and Metro stops modeled in the Parisian style give off European glamour.
