Literally across the street from Chinatown, walking distance to Old Montreal, Old Port, Metro, shopping, restaurants. Very clean and quiet room. Friendly staff. Our family of four stayed in a suite and it was plenty of room with kitchen/bar area. A real value. Would love to stay here again!

Hotel is perfectly located - close to the jazz festival and easy walking distances to old Montreal, Plateau and Centre-ville. The restaurant in the hotel was a very pleasant surprise. The chef has a wonderful menu and the staff are exceptional.

Stayed here for 3 nights for the annual Montreal Jazz Festival. Location great - walk to everything, Jazz Festival, old Montreal etc. Arriving with a car was a real pain. After 6 hours of driving there were no spots in the hotel's 15 min max spots at the back of the hotel to leave the car for the valet service... More

We stayed 3 nights. We had a good stay. Our room wasn't ready til after 4pm. suite was Largent a bit dim. Room darkening shades, concrete walls and an end unit made for tranquil sleep but dark during the day. Bed was fairly comfortable. Stefanie? at the front desk was very helpful and went above and beyond. * Very pleasant.*... More

Stayed for 1 night and where the hotel tries to be boutique in its appearance it is let down with some of its standards. Rooms are very small which is to be expected in a large metro city but the finish requires some upkeep and small things (literally) iron board which was a 3 foot table top was awful and... More

We booked based on the fabulous pictures this hotel posted online, however upon checking in we actually had to move to another room. Our first room had stains on the bed! We moved to a second room, which was better, but there were still cleanliness issues in the room (we felt too awkward to complain again). When we went to... More

We stayed one night on our way to Quebec from Toronto. It was Canada Day, so we arrived very late (around 1:00 AM) and had no problem checking in. Though people were still enjoying the evening, we went to bed immediately to get rest for the rest of our journey. The room was a little, but filled with unexpected amenities... More

My wife and I spent three nights here at the end of the Jazz Festival and had a great stay. The room was a good size, very clean, new and comfortable. And for those who may not know Montreal, the location is a short walk, through China town, to everything -- great restaurants, interesting walking tours, the cathedral Notre Dame,... More

Pretty plain and clean no frills hotel. Corner rooms are much larger L shaped rooms that have a separate sitting area. The L shaped rooms are on the ends of the building, my most recent one was room 401, much more space for very little money. A bit higher would give a much better view of the city. 1 block... More

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theaters, and exhibition centers are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
