One wonderful week in Montreal, with a beautiful view on the old town. I recommend you the1210 loft with many places and large windows on 12th floor. Very practical place: just near the 747 bus from Airport, a few minutes from downtown by crossing Chinatown through St Laurent street, a few minutes from Congress Hall. Ideal!

The stay was very comfortable. Room big and clean. The staff was responsive, even if we had a misunderstanding once. Hotel close to very lively areas. You can walk to most relevant parts of Montreal. Next to chinatown.

My wife and I stayed in this hotel for a week while touring Montreal. The staff were very friendly and helpful from the moment we checked in, switching easily from French to English (as did just about everyone we dealt with in Montreal). The location is terrific, across the street from the entrance to Chinatown, a short walk to Old... More

This is a unique hotel. It has a Great Location, direct bus from airport to the front door of the hotel; easy walk to river, restaurants and entertainment especially if you are there for the International Jazz Festival.

Lots to like here, after a 7 night stay. Not exactly upscale, but the design is modern contemporary; the front desk staff similarly young, gracious and cosmopolitan, and happy to help with tourism recommendations. Upon checking in, it took a long while for them to track down the pre paid booking, so they walked us to the hotel bar and... More

The hotel is ideally situated in downtown Montreal. You can walk to many places including Old Montreal and is across the road from Chinatown. I've stayed here before and was pleased enough. This time, however, there were young children. That being said, there were no amenities for them. There is a terrace on the fifth floor but was small with... More

Clearly this a very popular hotel in Montreal...whether they were checking in or checking out - the lobby/front desk was always busy. Overall - room was small by our standards but not uncomfortable, bed linens were clean & high quality, room & bathroom were clean & maintained but just a tad 'stuffy' from an air quality view. However, here's what... More

I had the chance to go to this hotel multiple time when I stayed in Montreal and I ADORE this hotel. It is my to-go hotel in Montreal and that won't change in the near future. The room are always clean and they are very stylish. It's very well situated (I've always reserved when I go to conventions). The service... More

I spent 3 days to meet up with a NY friend. Was pleasantly impressed with the modern design and facilities. Price-product ratio is excellent and the studio was very clean and had floor to ceiling windows looking over the old port and Vieux Montréal. The only hic is finding a place to park the car to register .... The hotel... More

Efficient layout made for a comfortable stay. Bed was really comfortable. Friendly staff. Located near Old Montreal where we spent a lot of time. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. One block from Metro to explore further. Nice walk-in shower. My only disappointment was poor lighting in bathroom for applying makeup-- a common problem in hotels.

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theaters, and exhibition centers are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
