We really enjoyed our stay here. the hotel has a great urban feel; it's modern with a cool industrial vibe. Staff was lovely - very welcoming. Our rooms was comfie and chic. Great use of space and the window opens - huge treat! If you want to hang out in Old Montreal, but not pay the hotel prices there, you... More

Rooms are small, but always impeccable. Walls are made of concrete, so rooms are very quite. Every member of the staff is incredibly nice and professional. The location of the Hotel is perfect, 5 minutes from all the best spots in Montreal.

Terrible service, extrmely small bathroom, you can't even turn around in the shower. On Expedia it had Chic and Hip room types, we booked for Hip room for extra money and the front desk does not know what it is, we were just given standard room.

We travel in a van with another family, when we got to the hotel we couldn't find any valet even though they do offer valet parking. This hotel has no where to stop your car, no drive-thru or anything. You have to park the car basically on the side street or the back street and then bring all luggages to... More

This hotel is amazing. The front desk people were very nice and friendly. It's very modern and the location is awesome!! Everything is nearby (shopping, restaurants, etc.) very convenient with a corner store on the other side. Beautiful terrasse on the 5th floor, nice view. We had a room on the 12th floor and was a little disappointed on the... More

We booked 4 rooms to extend our cruise by a couple days to explore Montreal. The location is great- walking distance to the Metro, and the 747 Shuttle to the airport stops just across the street. The hallways are a little dark and stuffy, but the rooms are lovely. Each is configured a little differently, but all have good views.... More

This hotel was fine overall. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are trendy modern and the beds are comfortable. The rooms are large enough, with nice bathrooms with walk-in showers. There is a kitchenette setup with sink, microwave, coffee maker, fridge, and utensils. We did eat dinner in one night and so the kitchenette was a plus.... More

While conveniently located and well maintained, this contemporary hotel is rather dungeon-like in its design. Our loft room on the 8th floor was large and had three large windows so in daylight you could see pretty well. At night, however, the room became a cave with all walls but one painted a dark gray/black and what lighting there was being... More

I stayed for 5 nights and the hotel was great. I was within walking distance to the convention center and able to walk to many great restaurants. The room was clean and very comfortable with nice views of the city. The restaurant attached had great food (Tapas) and the staff was excellent. Simon at the front desk was very helpful... More

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. We had a room on the 11th floor with amazing views of The city and Mont Royal in the distance. The room was large with a wonderful comfortable bed. It was furnished like a small apartment so we had a little kitchenette with microwave oven, coffee percolater... More

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theaters, and exhibition centers are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
