I stayed here while on business mainly due to its proximity to my company's HQ, and it turned out to be very nice. Even though there was a major construction project going on next door, there was not too much noise, and the staff and amenities were what is expected from a Hilton property. The lobby and bar in the...

We stayed for 8 nights, in April 2015 and particularly enjoyed having no dust allergy for the first time in many years while travelling. The room was fresh, clean and we had almost no noise from the busy Sherbrooke street. The restaurant has a fair choice.

This is a Hilton and it's an average Hilton - it's a good hotel though perhaps slightly off the beaten track. Although it's on Sherbrooke, it's a long way down and almost out of the donwtown area. So bear that in mind when booking. The airport bus, for example, is a good 15 minutes walk though the Metro is about...

Excellent for business or leisure trips. Walking distance from everything you need. Location allows me to walk to practically all my client meetings. Otherwise I can easily jump on the metro. The breakfast food is great and lots of good restaurants in the vicinity. There is even a pharmacy across the street if needed. Easy access to Mont Royal or...

A comfortable hotel overall. used to be my first choice for staying in montreal. The best thing about this hotel is its proximity to Mount Royal. Just a km away from a beautiful trail that winds up to the top of the mountain. If you're a runner this is a great route to get away from traffic. The one challenge...

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for one night, but I will definitely be booking it next time we are in Montreal. Room 724 was very comfortable. We had two queen beds in a large corner room at the front (south side) of the hotel on an upper floor, as other reviewers have suggested. The beds were very comfortable...

I stayed on business in April 2015. Nice, clean, conveniently located. Stores/restaurants were all within an easy walk. Fitness facility is great! It is a decent size, and well equipped. The only downside was there were no towels in the gym. I had to bring one from the room.

This hotel is splat bang in the middle of Montreal, right beside Mont Royal. It is within walking distance to all the great art museums and the main shopping area is just 2 blocks away. The staff were helpful and gave us bus timetables and maps of the area as well as recommendations. The room was clean and comfortable with...

My son and I just returned from our Montreal trip and our stay here. We very much enjoyed this hotel. Comfortable, clean rooms, excellent service, fast WiFi, and perfect downtown location. We also loved the croissants and pain au chocolat for breakfast. They could be among my son's top reasons for returning to this hotel. This Hilton is down the...

The staff was very helpful and the hotel was very clean. Room was bigger than I expected. But the highlight of the stay was the hotel pool which is on the roof. We swam while looking out at snow capped mountains.

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theaters, and exhibition centers are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
