We stayed here during the week of the Canadian Grand Prix. For that reason, it was packed and the rate was very high. I imagine staying there at other times would have been a different experience with a far more reasonable rate. But you get what you get, right? Overall the hotel is very nice and has underground parking. While...

I am never disappointed when I stay at a Hilton and this one did not disappoint. My friend was truly impressed with the friendliness of all the staff. From the maintenance staff to the housecleaning staff to the front desk staff, everyone said hello and smiled! We had a nice room with 2 beds, coffee maker, fridge. Everything you need....

Went to Montreal for daughter's convocation at McGill. Location was great, hotel was very clean and staff very friendly and approachable. Would stay here again. Only disappointment was that the Rooftop Garden was closed.

Walking distance 15-30 min to most of Montreal. Excellent heated, saltwater pool. Panoramic views from rooftop lounge chair area. Construction at back but street facing rooms quiet due to doublepane soundproofing. HGVC Gold Honors member so got free hot breakfast as well as free internet. C$40 plus bag tip for taxi to airport. Don't drive in Montreal. Walk it.

The Hilton Garden Inn is the perfect location within Montreal to stay. A great facility, with pleasant and helpful people working their. A great central location to easily walk to the many sites of Montreal. Restaurant within hotel provides a good variety of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner should you wish to just stay in and relax. A great...

Just tried to book a group of young people to stay at this hotel and was told that they we would not be welcome because they were teenagers. When I explained their credentials, and how many chaperones would be present, the sales manager told me that regardless, we were not welcome. When I said to him "this sounds like discrimination...

Dear Jason S, Thank you for your interest in our hotel, We sincerely apologise for the misperception we have left upon you. This place has a great centralized location for getting around all that Montreal has to offer. Steam Room is a plus, indoor pool, Jacuzzi and roof deck were nice as well. Mp was great at the bar along with Benoit and both mixed up some great martinis. Upon departure worse employee of all time was Denise, a male employee, who...

Service was excellent from our arrival to departure. Our room was large, comfortable and clean. The breakfast (extra charge) was good. Convenient self parking is available in a garage under the hotel (extra charge). We like the location near McGill and the arts district. The a/c worked well. We appreciate the no smoking, no pet policy.

While Hilton Garden Inns in metropolitan areas are basically cookie-cutter, they never disappoint. They are clean, pleasant, with exceptionally fine staff. This one in Montreal had large rooms as well. We were on the 9th floor in the front (we had read that the back was noisy due to condo-construction around that time), and the front had views of Mont...

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theaters, and exhibition centers are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
