My husband and I went to Montreal for a long weekend visiting family. we wanted to be able to walk downtown to restaurants and shops when not visiting. this location was great, easy walking east or west, lots of restaurants near by and the pool on the roof was small but clean. the only challenge was the breakfast room, which...

HOTEL’S FAVORITE REVIEW
Reviewed March 7, 2017

Being here last night of my current Canada trip we stayed here. The hotel is superior in many extends: price efficacy, the rooms are huge, all best equipped - ok, not too close to the best city restaurants, but either relaxing walk (15-20min, or easily (lazy) reachable by cab. Perfect service, fantastic rooms, bar, restaurant ... all you may need....

Location convenient to everything, although not the most wonderful neighborhood. Wonderful staff - very helpful, attentive, and friendly. Food okay - decent price, but not the best quality. Very kid friendly.

I travelled to this hotel for a week in mid April. The hotel is situated in a pedestrian area which has quite a few shops in the vicinity. The hotel is quite modern with very quiet rooms with updated finishes. The customer service was fantastic and the ladies at the front desk were very friendly. The pool and hot tub...

This is an attractive hotel with a nice indoor rooftop pool, hot tub and saunas. The rooms were nice, although our beds were very firm/uncomfortable. It is centrally located and in a nice area to walk around the city.

There was repetitive mechanical squeak that kept me up at night. At first it was fairly soft, but by my last night there it was loud. Sounded like an electric motor running followed by a squeak-creaking-groaning sound.

Recently we stayed at the Garden Inn in Montreal. The hotel is conveniently placed on Rue Sherbrooke which is one of the main roads that pass through Montreal city. At the moment there are major roadworks on, and if you're on holiday the early noise from the roadworks may affect you. Whilst comfortable the hotel could do with a bit...

Beautiful down town hotel, courteous and personable staff, lovely spacious rooms and nice bathroom, convenient proximity to stores and downtown activities and great breakfast bar. Very much enjoyed my stay and would recommend to others. I was only there one night on business but it made the experience very pleasant.

Typical Hilton quality and service. Very good hotel in Centre-ville with good walking access to many places throughout Montreal. Uber worked fine from airport to the hotel and to the various spots I needed to get to. Traffic is horrible throughout the day so expect delays to whereever you are driving to. Walking and public transportation is better. the hotel...

Unfortunately we found the staff very rude and unhelpful . On our whole 14 day trip through canada this was the only time we encountered arrogant staff. The room was very nice and spacious and the location is not to bad. We had room service once and we had to wait for a long time . When it finally arrived...

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theaters, and exhibition centers are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
