You are greeted with a smile, and a warm pastry. Our room, the Macdonald, was not large, but was very comfortable. The breakfasts are excellent. The staff made dinner reservations for us and had good suggestions for site seeing.

We booked the room at the front upstairs. GORGEOUS! We couldn't have been happier. We were going to The Anne Of Green Gables Show and Didn't want to take our things with us. We asked Dee and Chris if they would let us leave our suitcases there before we checked in. They said, oh you can just check in early! Wow! Not only that but they offered us some of their fresh backed goodies. Dee is the EXPERT at DELICIOUS home baked sweet goodies. WOW! These were better than most bakeries and we absolutely LOVED every one of them! Dee and Chris treated us like old friends and talked with us, made us feel at home! I would HIGHLY recommend this BEAUTIFUL B and B to anyone. If you DON'T Stay there we will feel sorry for you missing out on the BEST in the area, we thought the BEST on PEI!!! Chris and Dee, we will be back next summer and we thank you for the JOY that was ours to stay there 2 nights...wish it could've been a week or more! We love you guys, and appreciated you SO very much! Marji and Lee Venden (it was actually August or September of 2017).

Marji and Lee Thanks so much for such a great review and even more for staying with us. We would love to have you back and are in the midst of redoing the bathroom of the room you stayed in with a gorgeous walk in shower with rain head and body jets. I've been trying out and refining new baking recipes too! Thanks again for staying with us and we can't wait to see you again, Dee and Chris

We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed it very much. We really wanted to stay for longer so that we could have enjoyed all the comforts of this place more thouroughly. The rooms are absolutely splendid with lots of character including creaking floorboards and every possibly detail thought through down to a torch on the bed stand in case of power cuts. My dad who always advise me to bring one along on my travels were thrilled to pieces when I told him about it! There was this really great collection of leaflets and information on what to see and do, both in Charlottetown and on the island as a whole laid out for us in the room. The ensuite bathroom was also really nice with lovely on-the-island-made goat milk-soap. The lounge area and the breakfast area were also really lovely. The breakfast started with a lot of lovely, fresh cut fruit and berries to be had from a small buffet along with cakes which were also available throughout the day. The cooked breakfast meny including a special each day, was very good and almost too difficult to choose from! So many splendid options! Dee and Chris very welcoming and helpful with advise on everything from where to find a place for dinner, where to go for a walk. They also told us about the Marathon taking place the day after we arrived so that we were informed about when and where the streets would be closed. Really helpful as we didn't know anything about that having come from Cape Breton on the ferry. The rooms are situated on the first floor, but Chris was very helpful with the luggage, so that shouldn't be a problem for anyone (sorry, Chris, hope you're back will keep). Perfect location for downtown Charlottetown and easy to find. We would love to stay here again if we come back to Charlottetown which was a really nice place as well.

Lise, What a pleasure it was to have you stay and we are thrilled you enjoyed your time here at the Inn and one the island. How fun to know your Dad approved of the torches by the bed! It doesn't happen often but it can get a bit blowy on the island from time to time and that can impact the power! We love preparing and serving a varied menu and providing guests with fresh fruits and berries as well as home baked goods. We are lucky to live on Canada's Food Island and have so many organic producers who deliver right to our door! We would love to see you again if you return to Charlottetown and thank you again for choosing our inn and for taking the time to share your experience with other travels- it means thew world to us and our business! Dee and Chris
