My husband and I stayed at The Shipwright Inn for 9 days this month, for our first visit to Prince Edward Island. We loved staying here for numerous reasons. On the one hand, staying here is like staying in a museum of Victoriana. There are so many fascinating objects, perfectly preserved from the Victorian period, most of them labeled. Just... More

Everyone seems to love this place so we decided to give it a try. Certainly not disappointed. The owners Trevor and Judy are wonderful, very helpful in all ways. The inn is beautiful and our room/suite was a 10 on all counts. Great comfortable bed, awesome bath and a nice large living room. The inn's location is perfect if you... More

The most beautiful accommodation I have ever stayed in. If you like heritage places then this is the one for you. Extras provided include afternoon tea, fresh lemonade, popcorn, free wifi and the breakfast was delicious. Staff are extremely friendly and courteous. Would definitley recommend and love to go back again ☺

My wife and I recently returned from an incredible trip to the spectacular and charming island of PEI! We had a lovely stay at the Shipwright Inn. The owners are very welcoming and very helpful with their extensive knowledge and passion for their island! We loved it and will return! Chef Cherie is a talented chef who makes the most... More

This was a great inn to start and end our bicycle tour of East PEI. The owners allowed us to store our bicycles in a safe place. The chart room was awesome and it was neat staying in such a historical building. The breakfast was very good - one day we had waffles and the next day we had eggs.... More

I had a sort of special family trip to PEI this summer, via train from Montreal to Halifax, then to Charlottetown by car. Although primary reason to choose the destination is for the train trip, we found Charlottetown visit is truly suitable for quiet, comfortable stay, and this cozy B&B made this really special. The street is very much quiet... More

I had the pleasure of staying for a night. The property is wonderful and I enjoyed a complementary afternoon organic tea in the beautiful living room. We stayed in the cheapest room due to availability and the bed was only a double and the mattress left a little to be desired. The breakfast was good but I would've loved some... More

We stayed three nights on our recent trip to the maritime provinces. Our host was helpful without being pushy, absolutely perfect for us. We were able to walk to almost everything because the b and b is so well located. Breakfasts were bountiful and delicious and we were allowed to opt out of their standard offering if we cared to.... We stayed in this location for two nights with two children. Unfortnuatly our appartment had been in the cellar so that it was not possible to sit outside. The furniture had been selected verry kindly so the whole room had been comfortable.

My mother and I had a wonderful stay at the Inn. The suite we had was very spacious and had a lovely veranda to sit on. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. I especially liked having a sweet and tea in the afternoon. Our room had charming furniture and even a hot tub. We had a combination stay ("Ship to Shore")... More
