The grandest hotel on the island; worth the expense for a special trip. Having spent the week all over Prince Edward Island, we wrapped up our honeymoon at the Great George. The rooms are certainly expensive, but if you're looking for a truly memorable stay, there's no place better. The room was incredible, the location is ideal, and the staff... More

The only good thing about this place is the staff. They are top notch and always there for you when problems occur. Unfortunately that is needed as the building is poorly maintained and problems were a constant issue. Our hot tub didn't work, light bulbs we burnt out, loud plumbing noises, power flickered constantly, you can hear your neighbours constantly,... More

Hotel is located across from the Basilica and walking distance to the downtown core. The lobby has a lovely extended seating area with a large fireplace, coffee, tea and muffins there to enjoy. From 5:00-6:00 PM wine and beer is served complimentary of the hotel. Fresh baked cookies in the afternoon. I found the room to have comfortable beds. Small... More

It felt like been in Great Britain in 1800, definitely will stay here again. beautiful rooms and hotel decor , Victorian style where character touches every single corner of the property. The location is excellent as you are in downtown CHarlottetown. Bring your other half or your parents or grandparents for a journey in time and history. The island is... More

Staff were very friendly and happy hour was welcome with complementary drinks and nibbles. Don't miss the guided tour when one of the managers takes you on... More

If travelling to Charlottetown stay no where else! The staff go above and beyond. The breakfast is perfect! They have such a nice seating area welcoming all. Complimentary drinks 5-7. Fresh warm cookies at front. It's a very different concept though. They own the block of houses get units. We stayed two nights in the Perkins which was three floors... More

I completely concur with all the rave reviews, this hotel is terrific. Service is very friendly, the main building is charmingly furnished. Our apartment (for that's really what it was) was big and wonderful, with a living room, small kitchen, dining room, vestibule, and two bedrooms, all tastefully furnished in period decor. Since we visited in the summer, the rooms... More
