I stayed in the main floor front room for 4 nights. I don't mind the lack of amenities in this historic building that has no yard to sit in or indoor space with a couch because when you are a tourist downtown there are plenty of cafes and parks to enjoy. And I expect less than luxurious bedding and furniture... More

First of all thank you for your business we appreciate it. I can assure you we clean the bedding for every guest. If you came to us during your 4 day stay we would of taken care of any issues you had in your room immediately. We just had our annual inspection with tourism and they commented on how clean... My wife and I stayed here for 2 days in the busy tourist season on PEI it is very clean and the beds are comfortable. Our room was quaintly decorated. We were facing the street and I think the back rooms would have much less street noise if you want to sleep in past 7:30. This is much more like... More

The Tailor Shop Historic Hotel This hotel is located in an old building in a quiet neighbourhood close to shops, restaurants, the waterfront and the convention centre. It is an old two storey building so do not expect luxury. We stayed in a room on the first floor. There are a few steps into the hotel and a flight of... More

Its proximity to downtown Charlottetown makes this a good, affordable base for an exploration of the area. The rooms aren't large, but the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was a good size. The staff were pleasant, but not particularly well trained. I don't know that I would hurry to come back, but we did have a pleasant stay.

Located in Historic Downtown Charlottetown, the Tailor Shop is perfectly situated to allow you to enjoy all the amenities that PEI's capital has to offer, all in walking Distance. A charming Historic Home, the Tailor Shop Hotel is a peaceful retreat which reflects the essence of what has made Charlottetown such a beautiful place for over two centuries. Rich wood... More

We stayed one night and found the staff polite, ready for us, and the room was great. The location is perfect to see downtown Charlottetown. We will definitely stay again as the price is unbeatable for the location. Clean and comfortable bed. Air conditioning and windows that open.

We chose the Tailor Shop Inn because of its rating and its location. Location is all it has, besides peeling paint, rotting wood, dead bugs in the window sill, hanging cords, overloaded outlets, spiders in the corner of the ceiling, crinkled plastic mattress cover, mactac on the bathroom window. The room, (Rm. 2), was on the ground floor rear with... More

Conveniently located, just a five minute walk to the Confederation Centre, this small hotel has been tastefully renovated. Rooms vary in size, and apparently, two have housekeeping facilities. Decoration is vintage and tasteful, and the bathrooms are roomy, with ceramic tile and large whirlpool tubs. Beds are very comfortable, and the rooms were very clean. There is a mini fridge in... This older property is nicely maintained. Rooms are all a bit different—ours was nicely equipped with a fridge, sink and microwave as well as dishes—a couple of decent wine glass which is a nice touch. Staff were very friendly, and the location is very convenient to the Confederation Centre and Mack Theatre, and a number of the better restaurants in... More

We had a great little room, with really charming decor. It's a good central location, and the price was right. The only thing was that it is an old creaky slanted building and the other guests were very loud very early in the morning -- walls are like paper! Still really enjoyed our stay.
