We stayed for two nights at the Dawson House in early August. Randy and Stacey were gracious hosts. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts of french toast topped with fresh fruit and a quiche filled with vegetables. Both were delicious! There were many other items to select to complete these morning meals including freshly baked bread, scones, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, etc. Our hosts were able to recommend restaurants and attractions in Charlottetown. This character home is located near Victoria Park and the city centre. There is a sitting room and a backyard pool area to be enjoyed. Randy and Stacey went above and beyond to make sure that we were well taken care of.

Randy and Stacy were fabulous hosts from start to finish. They live in the property themselves and are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The home is gorgeous - clean and beautifully furnished. It also has some interesting history having been built 150 years ago. The rooms are spacious and have air-conditioning (much appreciated on the very hot day we stayed). As a crazy dog lady missing my own pups, I also appreciated Dawson, the family dog, who is a lovely friendly black lab/german shepherd cross (and very well trained not to interfere with guests unless invited!). The price was a little higher than we paid in our facilities during our maritime vacation, but truly worth the visit. Highly recommended.

You can tell right away when you meet Randy and Stacey that they are very happy to have you there. The rooms are perfect (AC in each room very appreciated), the house oozes character, and the blueberry pancakes were magnificent. We also enjoyed the pool and the very well-maintained and attractive yard. This B & B is about a mile from downtown, but very easy to access from there and the hosts were very willing to give us directions and make a list of options of places to visit. Price is higher than that for some of the other B & Bs we have visited, but it’s what you should expect to pay in the season where people flock to engage the Anne of Green Gables phenomenon. My wife and I strongly recommend staying here if you’re visiting PEI for whatever reason. Wonderful facility, wonderful people, wonderful province to visit.

We stayed at the Dawson House for three nights during the heat wave! Our room was on the top floor but the AC keep us cool. Room was spotless, we also had a fridge for our own use, with bottled water. Breakfasts were delicious, cooked Fresh every morning, (omelettes, french toast, blueberry pancakes for our three mornings), fruit, yogurt, coffee, tea, juice, hard boiled eggs, fresh baked goods, Cold cereals, milk, etc. Lots of choice. Randy and Stacey were very gracious hosts and took great care of us. They live in a beautiful home, in a great neighborhood. They have a lovely backyard where guests can sit outside. There is also a pool. Parking in the front. Other guest were very friendly and we spent many at least an hour at breakfast each am. Thanks!

Beautiful spotless home - even nicer than the pictures! The owners were accommodating and friendly, food was very good and the room was lovely. We were able to walk to Victoria Park which led us right into Charlottetown. There was a great free performance at noon at the Confederation building. Definitely check it out. Enjoyed the restaurant John Brown, outdoor tables and live music across the street. Good food and plenty of it. Rented bikes at Delvay By the Sea and biked along the water. This B&B is in a Great location for everything. Enjoy your trip!
