We loved our 4 day holiday in PEI and Donna’s hospitality and advice made our stay very enjoyable. She offered suggestions for our daily road trips and the hearty breakfasts tided us over till mid afternoon. This heritage home is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood within short walking distance into town. Guests have access to the parlour and large front porch for winding down at the end of the day. This B&B is highly recommended by our family group!

An exceptionally nice B&B in a very beautiful historical building. We had a room with our own balcony ("the Captain's Room"), which we can really recommend. There is also a communal sitting room and access to tea and coffee at any time of the day. Everything was absolutely clean and furniture and decorations were very tasteful and in perfect harmony with the architecture. It is apparent that the hostess, Donna, pays great attention to detail. She was always there when we had any questions and was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty, too.
We definitely recommend the Dawson House - a great base to explore PEI!

The house is beautiful and beautifully furnished. The bed was comfortable and the shower hot. Randy and Stacy were welcoming and friendly. Everything was super clean.
The neighborhood was quiet...no road noise or loud parties!
Randy was especially knowledgeable about the island and gave us good suggestions for sightseeing.

My friend and I just got home from 4 nights at the Dawson House. What a wonderful stay we had!! I have stayed at B&B's all over Canada and Europe and this was one of The Best. The house & rooms & property are beautiful and the breakfasts are fantastic. We woke up every morning to the wonderful aroma of Stacey's baking!!! Stacey & Randy are such great people - we felt like we'd known them all our lives. We had the room with 2 single beds and a beautiful balcony to sit out on and drink our wine!! Can't say enough great things about The Dawson House, our Hosts and our stay in PEI. Loved every minute.

My mom and I booked Dawson House for a weeks stay. It was an incredibly lovely and unique experience. The host Donna does her best to ensure that you have the best stay possible. The grounds are beautiful and safe. The house itself is so adorable and cozy. We loved the charm and decor. We tell everyone we know visiting PEI to stay there!

We were extremely pleased with this beautiful heritage home and it's grounds. Our hosts Randy and Stacy were entertaining, accomodating, gracious hosts. We stayed in the Loft and friends stayed in the Victoria Room and we all enjoyed our quiet accomodations. Breakfast was delicious and it was great to meet other guests from the US and Australia. We highly recommend this wonderful B&B and we will be back!!!

We came to The Dawson House somewhat by accident, as the B&B where we had originally booked was unable to accomodate us so they made arrangements for us to stay with Stacey and Randy at The Dawson House. What a fantastic experience it was, from start to finish! We were greeted warmly on our arrival, shown around the guest areas, then taken upstairs to a beautifully decorated yet comfortable room, complete with queen-sized bed, color TV and a jacuzzi tub. The bed was comfy and the jacuzzi tub most welcome after a day of exploring PEI. The attention to detail was wonderful, down to the fluffy bath mat and the box of quality tissues (not the cheap stuff you find in hotels) on the dressing table.

And then there were the breakfasts! Each morning as we went downstairs, we felt like Bugs Bunny in the old cartoons, wafting along on a wonderful smell. The breakfast selection included fresh grapefruit, yogurt, croissants, juices and cereals, along with a different main course each morning -- bacon and eggs cooked the way we liked them, quiche, pancakes (a choice of plain or apple cinnamon) and freshly baked bread, including Stacey's awesome banana bread. We were offered coffee or tea; I asked if there was any milk because I like a glass of milk with breakfast, and a pitcher of milk was put out that morning and each morning of our stay. The dining room table was beautifully set and everywhere was spotlessly clean.

I could go on and on but suffice it to say that our stay at The Dawson House could not have been better. Stacey and Randy are gracious and friendly hosts who are to share their knowledge of the area and the island with their guests. We feel like we have made new friends. We highly recommend The Dawson House and wouldn't stay anywhere else.

I arrived after dark on a rainy Friday night and had some difficulty reading road signs due to poor visibility. As I drove slowly down North River Road, an impressive heritage home came into view, flood lit and beautifully decorated for fall. I'd arrived! My first impression was sustained as I was warmly greeted by the owner, Stacey, who despite a long and tiring week working at two jobs was gracious and friendly even though i was an hour later than I'd anticipated.

The home is a gem and the atmosphere is warm and cosy. There are beautiful hardwood floors, deep baseboards, chandeliers, large gracious rooms and lots and lots of character. I love relaxing in a bath at the end of a long day and was pleasantly surprised to find a jacuzzi tub en suite. The bed was comfy; the house quiet. Stacey was extremely helpful in providing suggestions and directions for a few different nearby restaurant options. The location is perfect! Walking distance to Victoria Park and downtown, and is easy to find (if you arrive in the daylight!)

Highly recommended. It's great to see a young couple investing in a business in the Maritimes! I'll be back and will recommend your lovely home to others.

Great location, easy 15 minute walk to downtown area! Randy and Stacey are amazing people! Stayed 2 nights in the Victoria room ! Randy makes some stellar omelettes. Nice pool area to chill in after a long day of walking downtown. There's a fridge to store your nice cool beverages! If it's a hot day most likely randy will be out enjoying the sun :) if you speak another language randy can definitely handle it :) Dawson the black lab is friendly and knows her boundaries! Very well trained! Definetley recommend especially if you are a newly wed ( like us ) ! Great experience thanks again you two.

Our stay at the Dawson House was excellent.
The Victoria room was amazing with the 4 poster bed and the view. Everything is in great shape and very clean. No noise could be heard at all. (except birds in the morning).
Breakfast was more than we expected with hot and cold items served. Other customers we met in the morning around the table were very up and was a pleasant breakfast. Very good service from the hosts, who were there thoughout out stay.
Thanks for the great night.
