My friend and I spent several nights in Glendenning Hall this June. It is clean and simple, with all the basics you need. There is not too much noise from the street. Unless you care only about fancy facilities, it's impossible to fault Glendenning Hall. The location, parking, staff are all excellent. Rooms are basic but spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a welcome bonus but fruit would have been a nice addition. It was good value for the money. The City Centre is only about 10 to 15 minute walk. The apartment we had was an immaculate two bedroom, complete with a kitchenette, air conditioning and flatscreen televisions in each bedroom. The kitchen had a full fridge and stove and a microwave. There was plenty of hot water. The beds were comfortable. Booking and reception were friendly, responsive and accommodating. A definite recommendation!

I stayed for 2 nights in August as part of an extended cycling weekend in PEI. Glendenning Hall normally serves as the residence for students at Holland College, but in the summertime, it is an economical alternative to accommodations. At reception, staffed 24h a day, with night security, were quite friendly. I was given a two bedroom suite, more than I needed and was quite spartan in layout, albeit spacious. The beds and linen were hard, but expected for a college dormitory. The kitchenette was out-fitted with everything I needed to cook my own meals. The location itself was relatively convenient - about a 10 min walk (1 km) to the main shops and theatre attractions (Victoria Row and Queen St). A continental breakfast is offered with muffins, cereal, toast, yogurt, and juice in a separate dining area. A minor observation is that in my room on the main floor, there was no kitchenette window covering, which meant at night, when you padded around in pyjamas, people could easily see you inside from the outside. However, overall a pleasant economical stay.

We decided to visit Charlottetown at the end of August and could find no accommodation downtown. Happened upon a listing from Glendenning Hall and it worked very well for us. Clean, basic accommodation. Furnishings are new, a/c in each of the two bedrooms. Friendly, helpful staff at the front desk and an ample cold breakfast. Free wifi and parking and we were able to walk everywhere in the historic area.

We stayed 8 days here. A university residence so you have a basic kitchen and two bedrooms with double beds. A continental breakfast with a good assortment is part of it each morning. The bedrooms each have an air conditioner. Someone is at the front desk at all times. There is free parking across the street. Very clean and excellent service. Would stay again.

2 bedroom suite at university with kitchen facilities. Parking is available and across the street from the front door of the building. Nor right downtown, but close enough to walk. Very basic, air conditioner installed in each bedroom.
