This was a last minute booking while on a road trip and even if it was rated as a 3 star hotel, the ratings were good so we went ahead with the booking. Great location, walking distance to restaurants. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Service was excellent! Thank you!

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and spacious. This place has a warm, comfortable feel about it. Breakfast was yummy, but not special. Good coffee! Excellent location.. Note: there is no elevator.

Everything about this place was better than we expected. The young woman who checked us in was so helpful and accommodating, even calling a local performance venue about a show we wanted to attend that night. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. There was even a laundry for guests to use for only $1 per load. There was a kitchenette just down the hall that had wine glasses, a microwave, and coffee and tea. They also had books, games, and DVD’s for guests to use. Breakfast consisted of fruit, bagels and toast, breads, egg custard tarts, blueberry tarts, and a hot entree. The location was very close to the town center and best of all, the price was very reasonable.

We reserved here last minute on Hotels.com. Price was ok, there was parking and all we needed in the room. Water pressure was quite low though and it took a long time to get warm water in the shower. I was told there would be bacon at breakfast - but there wasn't.... The bed was comfortable, the place clean, check in - check out were speedy. But it was all just ok.....

The Inn was very clean, the staff helpful, homemade pastries delicious. My only complaint was that our room was hot and stuffy. We had an air conditioner but it seemed to be set at 75 and that was the coolest it would go. Difficult to sleep at night... we like it much cooler.

This is more like a small hotel in a large converted old house than a typical B and B. Has its own multiple spot parking lot, lots of rooms. Continental breakfast is offered. close walking distance to Downtown and Waterfront. Rooms and washrooms are clean, beds are comfortable. Price is good value for what you get, but was not like other B and B experiences we have had elsewhere.

Was everything we hoped it would be - comfortable, clean and spacious rooms with good mattresses and the best pillows. The staff was friendly and attentive, made us feel welcome, almost like a large, well run B&B. Breakfast was in lovely surroundings and offered many treats. The location was great, walking distance to everything, yet a quiet residential neighborhood. Thank you Sonata Inn, keep up the good work, we'll be back.

We arrived at Sonata Inn this afternoon after travelling 9 hours to find out they do not have a reservation under my name. I found the confirmation number that was sent to us but he told us the place has no vacancy and cannot do anything other then giving us a room at one of their other place. We did go to see and it was an old apartment building in need of major renovation. Needless to say we did not take it. We ended up having to spend an extra 75.00 because places are very hard to find at the last minute. Very unhappy with the way this situation was handled Would not recommend such an establishment.

The Sonata Inn was a lovely old house in a great part of town. Our stay was 7 nights and in that time you can usually encounter a few glitches - we didn’t have any! Great free parking, comfortable room with air conditioning which was required as we had 7 days of perfect summer weather. Breakfast was served in a really nice room and on our last day we were accommodated with breakfast a little earlier. Freshly baked cakes, scones and hot items were provided every day and some of the cakes were delicious. There were beach towels daily and a washing machine and dryer for only a loonie. The staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful. Yes it’s an old house but that added to its charm for us. The board walk close by was lovely for walking each morning, there were plenty of nearby restaurants and Prince Edward Island was a great place to explore. Highly recommended. Ps great internet, fridge in room, separate dressing room in Room 9, guest kitchen, water and soft drink for $1, free cake every afternoon

Spent two nights here on my trip in July 2019. Had to switch rooms as one room was not available for the two nights I was there. Both rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was underwhelming and I did not eat there for the second day.
