This was our first time staying at one of Marriott's Delta branded hotels and we were pleasantly surprised. Very similar to Marriott but its but with a more contemporary updated style and more business than leisure-oriented. We were fortunate enough to get upgraded to a corner Tower view room. The tower was smack center in our room and was even more phenomenal to look at at night. To the last was the lake and on both sides were many of the city's iconic skyscrapers. We requested housekeeping each day and they did a fantastic job of cleaning the room and replenishing the amenities which were of good quality. The soap is a little strange as it has ridges in it and it tends to fall apart after just one or two uses. The service at the front desk was fantastic, especially by Matt. The concierge, Russell, was extremely helpful and friendly. The pool was a very good size and very clean and the temperature was perfect. Covid protocols limited use to one family group at a time and you have to make reservations ahead of time. There was a wonderful hot tub next to the pool which we also enjoyed. We will definitely consider this property next time we visit Toronto.

Found this hotel through social media, specifically looking for the CN tower corner room w/ soaker tub. We wanted to try something new rather than the usual Shangrila/Fairmont. Upon booking, they seemed to not have that room available anymore (no complaints, im sure its very popular) so we stayed in the Skyline View w/ Soaker tub instead for 5 nights. The location is amazing, heart of downtown. 1 block away from scotia bank arena, ripleys aquarium, CN tower etc. The room was small and standard. Not an issue as we were aware of the rooms sq ft details through the website. Service: 8/10 Front desk - Nice and respectful. They were a bit slow and not as professional in some cases ex: a couple of them would chit chat loudly (non work related) right behind the person who was helping us check in. Valet was good, there were some communication issues within the team. It would take them longer than usual to get our car on some days. Although, there were was one attendant that we loved! (lovely lady, did not get her name unfortunately). Rooms: 7/10 Standard room, nothing special (except for a few rooms with beautiful views). The soaker tub was one of the reasons we booked the room, and unfortunately the water plug was not working properly. My partner had to get into the tub to push the plug down and seal it with his foot so it would fill up faster. The hot water took ATLEAST 5 minutes to heat up, which is the first time this has happened to us in any hotel. At one point we figured we just used up all the hot water lol, but had to wait longer for it to get slightly warm. All in all, it is an okay hotel. I do not see us re-booking, there was nothing that stood out. Although if you want something simple that does the job, go for it!

I would have given the hotel 5 out of 5 but for the fact that even though there were 3 of us in the room and whilst 3 towels were left (so housekeeping were aware) for some reason this was not taken into account with respect to water, coffee and cups (paper) as only 2 of each were left - not sure what the 3rd person was supposed to do! Furthermore a bottle of champagne was also requested by my friends as this trip was to celebrate a milestone birthday but again only 2 glasses were left and then to add insult to injury when we requested a 3rd we were told there were none available! Especially annoying was the fact that even though we pointed this out on arrival each time our room was made up this was not addressed, further compounded by the fact the room was only cleaned every other day, so we had to keep asking for more to be sent up. I know this may sound petty but constantly having to ask for coffee, cups and water was extremely trying! I can understand the room not being cleaned everyday but if this is going to happen the hotel/housekeeping must make sure that enough cups, water and coffee (and toilet tissue) are left for the number f guests in the room and also allow for the fact they need to leave enough for 2 days!

I picked this hotel for the closeness to Scotiabank Arena for a concert. I have an injured hip and can't walk far, and the taxi/uber situation you have to get out and walk, so I was very pleased with the location, it was even closer than I thought. Everything was top notch, the service, staff, room and location. I read reviews and was told about the $100 incidental fee, I'm still waiting for them to remove it. I booked the corner room with tub and we loved it! Bathroom was roomy enough for two gals to dance and do makeup. Everything clean. We will return to this hotel with my family. Very happy!

Had an excellent stay here, we stayed for 1 week. The location is fantastic for tourists, extremely walkable to lots of fun sites. Right in the heart of downtown and near harbor and financial district. Staff was lovely, and Russell is a gem! Would stay here again.
