We spent five nights in the Moroccan Suite and we're already looking forward to a return visit. Deb, the owner, has done a phenomenal job anticipating what a traveler might want, and she has provided absolutely everything a guest could need to feel at home. We arrived the night before a national holiday (Canada Day), and most of the shops... More

We loved this place. The London Bridge Suite. Comfortable bed with a fireplace we didn't need cause it was hot. Windows that open and a full kitchen and T.V. all in one big room. Table and chairs and 2 large comfy chairs. Great closet with lots of mirrors. Private bathroom, even a hairdryer. Very attractive décor, makes you want to... More

I cannot recommend Cozy Suites enough to anyone visiting Toronto. The elegance and accessibility of this Inn cannot be surpassed. Everything you need to be self contained or if you want to be out and about for dinner, theatre, live entertainment or cocktails is totally at hand. My hostess and host went the extra mile to accommodate me in every... More

The Moroccan Suite was just what we needed while our house in the neighbourhood was being sold. It is well equiped with everything necessary in the kitchen, two TV's with cable, comfortable seating to read and even books to borrow. The two gas fireplaces kept the winter chill away and made this lower floor apartment quite cheery. The parking space... More

We are the new friends from Kansas mentioned in the previous review. We spent a lovely week at the end of July at Cozy Suites. The location - close to the Beaches - really worked for us. We used the transit right in front of the property to explore the neighborhoods of Toronto. The suite was clean and comfortable -... More

My husband and I stayed in the London Bridge suite at Cozy Suites Inn for a week in late July. The suite was very clean, comfortable, and well appointed, and so much better than a hotel room. Deb is a lovely inn keeper - very friendly and accommodating, and a great source of information about The Beaches and Toronto. Traveling... More

Cozy suites exceeded our expectations -- it was even better than it looked in the photographs. The room was clean, tastefully decorated and had all the conveniences we needed. It is very well located and private with separate entrance to our room. The hostess is very organized, friendly and thoughtful. She keeps a beautiful and well maintained garden which adds... More

As other reviewers have already explained, this is a charming locale with many advantages. Although it is not centrally located, it is reasonably convenient to get to the center of town by public transport (bus (just outside the residence)/subway combo or a 15 minute walk to the subway. I liked the experience of feeling like a resident in a neighborhood... More

We first stayed at the Cozy Suites Inn for a week in April 2012 and have just spent another five great days there. The Cozy Suites Inn gets excellent reviews because it deserves them. It is cozy, clean, quiet, private and comfortable. Its location is good with access to downtown by subway or streetcar (more to see above ground). One... More

Thanks Chris, it was my pleasure having you back at Cozy Suites. Thanks for taking the time to write such a fantastic review for us. We appreciate your candid response. This business looks so easy but it is, in fact, quite difficult. It is refreshing and much less stressful when folks like yourselves and the many wonderful guests that I... More

Staying in Scarborough

Neighborhood Profile
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
