The room was not that clean and made me feel like I was at a 2 star hotel. Checking in was an insult. Had to produce drivers license (that's okay) for then the clerk turns around and makes a photo copy. I didn't feel very...More

Booked a room via their website for one night. Nice clean renovated hotel. The only two disappointments were that it happened to be a long check in time, and we requested a ground floor room. While waiting a long time to check in, we witnessed...More

My wife and I staid at this hotel for one night before travelling to Niagara falls, hotel is next to the bus stop, very clean, and the best value in that area. They accepted me without credit card, cash deposit was necessary, though.

My boyfriend and I stayed here to avoid the long commute in bad weather last fall. We used Hotwire to book so we didn't know where we would be staying until after it was booked. We were pleasantly surprised by the room, it had recently...More

Etobicoke
Etobicoke is a relaxed area along the Humber River.
It's saturated with green spaces and conservatories,
making it a premier destination for outdoor sports,
hiking, and nature walks. Its abundance of parkland
and lakes makes it a typical spot for fishing,
picnicking, and camping out, especially in warmer
months. The peaceful area is also enjoyed by families,
who appreciate its boardwalks and sports facilities.

Yes there is. Right across the hotel, you can catch the bus, take it directly to the Subway and from there, Subway straight downtown Toronto. This total journey, a maximum of 45 mins.

I just booked a room for this hotel and was wondering how far it was from the downtown area? I mean, how far is it to some of the attractions (i.e., Toronto BOtanical Garden, St. Lawrence Market, etc.). I am interested in some of the things in Toronto. I assumed that when I booked this hotel, that it was actually in Toronto and not in the outskirts. I canceled reservations at one hotel and came to this one, thinking that I'd be closer to the attractions and it looks like I am only 5 to 6 minutes closer by car. I'm also curious to know if there are ways to get to the attractions I want to get to without having to drive. I will be driving up (in NY right now, will be driving by Niagra Falls then to Toronto), so I don't mind the driving. I'm just not sure I want to cancel reservations at this hotel to get something closer, which my end up being even more expensive, especially since I will be in town on July 21 and staying until July 23. Just curious. I really want to make the most of my short stay in Toronto.

At this time of year, you're actually better off staying outside the city center. If you want to see a variety of attractions, both inside and outside the city center, you're better off remaining outside the grind on the... More

I got in late in the evening and only had contact with the front desk clerk who I would describe as efficient. Neither rude nor especially friendly.
