Very clean room and warm, liked the hardwood floors, no rugs. Also, the white comforters made the room look clean and crisp. The room was interesting, nothing like I've seen before, very tastefully done.

Went for an artshow (come up to my room 2017) and enjoyed looking into the rooms - all decorated differently. If you want to experience a really cool area of Toronto, and don't mind not being right downtown, highly recommend this place.

Love the uniqueness of this hotel. Booking early to ensure your choice of room would be important as they are busy. Art shows on the different level or other shows in the building are constantly rotating so never a dull moment here.

I did enjoy my stay here for one night.. The elevator in the hotel is antique, works well and is really cool. The onsite restaurant was also very good. The desk staff was not so attentive, but the location and the esthetics of the hotel were good. Our room was quite small, but it is an old hotel

Wonderful gallery setting. Comfortable beds, quiet and in a fantastic neighbourhood. Staff is very friendly, with great recommendations for local gems. Lovely boutique hotel -- the manned elevator is very cool as well.

My boyfriend and I decided instead of planning something for New Years this year, that we would get a hotel room at the Gladstone and just attend whatever party they threw. We found out later that being guests of the hotel allowed us free attendance to the party, which was an added bonus! The Gladstone did a Moulin Rouge theme,...

Cool idea and great art gallery, comfy bed, but the location was exaggerated relative to proximity to trendy section of Queens West. Drake a better value and better location. Expensive for what you actually get.

Our family came to visit us in Toronto and we stayed here, the food was great, the location is awesome, and the staff was very helpful. I would recommend staying in this neighbourhood if you're ever in Toronto, so much to do and see.

Staying in West End

Neighborhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
