Great service, great staff, terrific rooms, very reasonable rates for the room! It's central to everything downtown and the subway (King Station) is 5 steps outside of the door. The vault in the basement is interesting to see and the bar tender at the lobby bar won't let your glass run empty...

We stayed at One King West a number of times over the years. It is always our first choice in Toronto. The room prices fluctuate widely depending upon season and holidays. We were here just before new year's eve in December 2015. The room price doubled for the new year celebrations so we stayed elsewhere that evening. One can stay...

Worst staff, so rude and unhelpful, don't even know their own company's information. The rooms are nothing like the pictures so don't get fooled, never booking here again. It's overpriced for nothing nice.

Great location. BUT, bathroom not in good repair, parking $45, had a confirmed late checkout, but was told it would be an extra $50 on the morning of...had to pack up my 2.5 month old baby and leave in 15 minutes to avoid a fee. Nice. But hey, they are great at holding doors for you.

A great hotel in a superb location. The location couldn't have been handier, right across the street from the King station. Clean and comfortable. The bed was great, all of the amenities needed to have a great stay. Just had to go down the stairs in the lobby to reach several shopping attractions including Eaton's Center. Close to a great...

A great location in downtown Toronto - close to shopping, theatres and restaurants. Rooms are spacious - love the kitchenette facilities, high ceilings and friendly service. Easy access to the PATH system. Definitely will stay again.

We had a great visit. Our suite was gorgeous with a beautiful view of Lake Ontario. I was expecting something much smaller so was pleasantly surprised. I have paid more for much less in Toronto. The staff was courteous although the parking was not good. That's my only complaint. I have a truck and did not know the valet service...

It is nice to have an in room fridge and microwave. The location is great! We used the PATH to get to all downtown shopping without having to go outside in the bad weather. We could shop without having to wear our winter coats!

PROS - The Concierge was splendid! I actually forgot my phone in a cab and Ali at the help desk went out of his way to help me recover it. The in room dining was fabulous. A little pricey but thats okay. Nice little gym which has a hot tub which was nice. The hotel room was nice and cozy...

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
