Hotel's Favorite
The hotel is located a short walk from Union Station, which is very convenient, and very close to Yonge Street, Dundas Square, the Hockey Hall of Fame and other Toronto attractions. The staff was very friendly and gave us an upgrade to a room with kitchen, living room, washer/dryer and bedroom. We made use of the jacuzzi, which was very relaxing and pleasant (free for hotel guests but you have to book). Breakfast was GREAT, very delicious with fresh fruit, freshly-baked bread, hams and cheeses. Next time in Toronto, we would probably stay there. Highly recommended.

We have been city hopping around Canada and had high hopes for this apartment as everywhere else has been great. However, we were disappointed overall. I very rarely score a two out of five. Start with the positives: -Lovely staff -Great location: in walking distance of Union Station and the metro as well as other sights. -Tasty breakfast: fresh fruit and delicious bread - Quiet room and comfy bed. - Nice toiletries and shower. However.... Our suite was very small and it was difficult storing two suitcases. The wardrobe was tiny and there were no drawers and we so we couldn't unpack. The kitchen had a hob and microwave but was sparsley supplied with crockery and cutlery and we had to ask for extra cutlery, pots and pans. We liked our view on the 18th floor but the wrap around balcony was unfinished and not usable and dusty. Overall, the suite had a well used feel with scuffs and not a clean feel. There was building work in the street which we expected but the entrance into the hotel was dusty. It all felt a bit unfinished. Disappointed for the price we paid and after the positive reviews we read. It certainly didn't feel boutique or Zen like for us!

Hi Ilovetravel1967 and thank you for the review. It looks as though we have an opportunity to improve and your feedback will be shared with the team to do just that. We do appreciate you noting the many positive aspects of your visit and we apologize for the effects of the the temporary road construction. We have put on additional staff in order to help with the check in as well as cleanliness of the lobby and we regret that this was an inconvenience. Please contact me directly at generalmanager@cosmotoronto.com if you are planning to return to Toronto and I will do my best to make your experience memorable for the right reasons. Evan

Louise, at front desk, made the experience. She is super competent and helpful. Professional and hospitable. Noise from construction is unavoidable. Breakfast room, during renovations, is a bit cramped.
