The entire team at The Drake Hotel should be commended on their attentiveness, customer service and hospitality. It was an amazing feeling being at the hotel (my first time) and the dining experience was one to be remembered. We hosted our wedding here in November 2023. Bayley set the tone by helping me as I called in to get further details about the room and following up by reaching out to me via email regarding my inquiries until we had an answer. She was helpful throughout, answering every email or call with kindness and professionalism. I really appreciated our interaction. Nikola was more of the same, incredibly friendly, helpful, calming, and clearly cared and shared the excitement in helping us arrange our plans and curtail some concerns. He was so nice on the phone that I was shocked to have an even more friendly experience in person. Thank you so much for your help. Ali was so helpful during check-in, which was incredibly chaotic, but she got everything sorted and really made life easier. Celia was also incredibly helpful with arranging our dinner details and walking me through the process. Her friendliness and guidance were really needed and appreciated. Chef David Smith completely outdid himself with dinner service and Faye our main serving contact was outstanding. These two made our night dining in the lounge incredibly special, with prompt service, friendliness, some flair from the chef and just a beautiful, fun, delicious experience throughout. Hotel's Favorite
The Drake just got even more awesome with the new addition of its modern wing. It just opened up a few weeks ago and let me be the first to tell you this place has so much style and details that go from the new Lobby Bar all the way to the new rooms. More art surrounding even more art. Details in the rooms with those classic Drake looks make you wonder why you don't just move in here. Thats the other best part.... the staff sure makes you feel like friends staying at there amazing house. So ya if I were you I'd just book a room, stay for brunch, explore the neighborhood and whatever you do make sure you check out all the amazing art around the Hotel. The Drake is where you should be going in your in Toronto. Trust me just book it and thank me later.

What Drake was to what drake is. Just like his last few albums it was better in 2016,17,18... and this Hotel reflects the same exact thing. Time to revamp! or need of a new look. Goodluck! Hopefully in the near future there will be a new "hip" spot in toront called "Drake roof top - remix"

Our room at the Drake was exceptional. Beautiful and functional design, spacious bathroom , comfortable bed and lovely bedding. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is superb with restaurants, bars and interesting shops right outside the main door.

Went to The Drake for a wedding..Ambiance, food and staff - Exceptional! I'm local, so I didn't see the rooms, but was blown away by this wedding venue. Every part of the night was perfect! The meal, from start to finish, was absolutely delicious! The set up was intimate, modern and just plain fun! Staff was very accommodating and attentive. Well done Duke Hotel! Will recommend you to all of my friends and their fiancees!

Clean, comfortable, spacious room with large shower room. Any requests we made were dealt with quickly. We were especially impressed by the staff on the front desk ( notably Natalie and her colleague) who were very helpful when our return flight was delayed. They even held our room for an extra night should we need it. We were very impressed overall.

I travel to Toronto for work about 5-6 times a year. I always stay at the Drake. The area it is in is packed with bars, restaurants, and cafes. The hotel itself has three bars, a great cafe, an incredible music venue, and a top notch restaurant. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. This is a fantastic hotel. During this last trip, I met Natalie, the reservation’s manager. Natalie gave me some great tips about where to go and the area in general. Both Natalie and the bar staff were great. Stay at the Drake, and if you can, stay an extra night just to hang there as well.

The artistic theme is on point throughout the hotel, and no level of comfort was compromised. The staff greeting us at the front desk were warm, inviting and ensured we had what we needed to begin our 3 night stay. We also hosted a private happy hour event at the Sky Yard Rooftop bar. Service from staff was terrific and the food options were well received by our guests. This location is prime for Queen street activities, bike ride shares or shuttle to central downtown. We hope to venture another stay here in Toronto!

We just returned from a quick trip to Toronto and The Drake Hotel was one of the reasons we can call it a fabulous experience. I'm not sure we've ever stayed in a hotel where every single staff member was so helpful, cheerful, and accommodating. It all started with Natalie at the desk, who we called en route to get specific info about parking. She handled that question masterfully and we were delighted to meet her in person at check-in. Every business should have someone like Natalie, who so obviously cares about customers and shows it in every way. She's smart, articulate, and uber-professional -- a five-star employee. Our server at the restaurant also earned five stars. I wish I would have noted her name because she deserves high praise as well for her outstanding service, awesome personality, and great sense of humor. The hotel is very boutique and very charming. Restaurant food was excellent and the place is super clean. Just one piece of advice if you stay there. A couple of rooms are almost claustrophobically small. But the fact that we stayed in one of them -- the Crash Pad (I guess the Nook is even smaller) -- and still wrote this 5-star review says a lot about how the many advantages of The Drake far outweigh the minor inconvenience of having to kind of shuffle around the bed for lack of walking space. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip. …
