We booked this place on the usual booking websites, i.e. hotels or booking.com. It was nice and comfortable and in a great location, but it was more of a condo than a hotel room. What was missing was any kind of staff to help you with any questions about the city and getting around it. You checked in through a... More

As an update to my 9/27/12 review of the Glen Grove property at Conservatory Tower across from College Park on Bay Street, I must say that after several years of visiting Toronto, it is still an unsolicited favourite . The location remains central to everything anyone would seek in Toronto: a quick walk to Yorkville and the Mink Mile (Bloor... More

Booking was made in December 2014 for a stay 6 to 9 May, 2015. On 5 May an email was sent to confirm late arrival and a return email on 6 May gave instructions that concierge was open 24 hours. Arrived with party of 3 others at 10.45pm. There was no Concierge so we had to wait for someone else... More

It is extremely rare that we write a response to a review such as this, but we do feel we need to state the facts around this gentleman's visit. We did receive a booking well prior to the arrival date. And as per our policies, the credit card was charged 14 days prior to arrival. This gentleman's credit card was... More

Only good thing about this property is the location. we booked another hotel but got an email a few days before we left to say that we can no longer stay there but we can stay at the conservatory towers. We got our key from the concierge desk. Walked into the apartment. The floors were covered in hair, dust and... More

Dear Guest, Thank you taking the time to review our property. Despite the location being great, it really isn't an excuse for the lapse in housekeeping. We are taking this matter seriously and have conducted a review of this with the housekeeping staff. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Warm regards, Brian Pereira General Manager More

The location of the property is impeccable. It's near the colleague street subway station. The Eton center is only 5-7 mins walk. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment which was fine for our requirement. The amount money you would save on travel and time is worth the price. Also there is a service Ontario just opposite of the place. The... More

As said by other reviewers this is not a hotel - it's an apartment complex that Glen Grove own some suites in and thus has no house keeping (aside from the maid who comes in when you leave) or concierge. The building is located in a decent area of town (20 minute walk to the museums and some clubs, 35... More

This is not a hotel; it's a furnished condo you rent. There is a concierge service, and you get the key at the desk in the entrance to the building, but the concierge doesn't know things like whether you have access to the pool or video room (we didn't seem to). Our apartment was on the 14th floor, had balconies... More

Security staff friendly and helpful. Pool area very clean. Good sized one bedroom. Bedding linens were threadbare and even holes in them. Dirty shower curtain. Smelly freezer. Is located in great place to visit downtown Toronto. Close to Billy Bishop airport.

The condo is well situated down town, concierge 24h a day, and has a parking. That's all for the good points! Furniture from 80's, we found the condo very dirty: floor and furniture tights, traces of food in the kitchen, stained and threadbare towels, suspicious traces in the bathroom...

Dear Guest, Thank you taking the time to post a review. We're glad you liked the location of the building. Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
