A good apart hotel but lacks facilities of a standard hotel. Reception were fantastic and friendly and the room was really spacious and clean. Full kitchen in room but it had no cutlery, plates etc so unable to use. Location is good for getting around on the transport system and central for the main shopping and theatres. The neighboorhood lacked character overall though and having visited Toronto there are definitely more interesting places to base yourself. The price of this place is a winner and great value - if you are on a budget you cannot go wrong here.

Great hotel, clean, spacious rooms and comfortable. A fantastic location as it’s very central and easy to get everywhere. Housekeeping can be requested however often you need it, and you can always get extra towels at reception. Check in was easy and Thom behind reception was friendly and helpful. As we were celebrating my husbands birthday they gave us a free drink at the bar and premium Wi-Fi which was a great touch. Our only criticism is that we didn’t like the pillows in the room, but ultimately that is personal preference.

I was visiting Toronto on a business trip. I had a strict timeline as I was required to be at a conference the same evening, and the hotel would not let me check-in without a credit card (mind you, I had previously already paid for the room using my credit card). I did have other forms of payment readily available but they were adamant on having a credit card (and would not let me use my credit card via Apple Pay). The first Pantages representative, Ron, was professional but firm on not being able to check-in. The second representative, Tom, was completely unprofessional and extremely rude. After I pointed out to Ron that I received zero communication from them mentioning this requirement, and showing them their own website. Tom excused himself into Ron and I’s conversation and claimed that it’s posted on a paper sign in the front of the reception. (I’ve attached the sign below. No where does it mention a card card requirement, simply that they do no accept cash.) Tom’s tone of voice was completely unacceptable, but when I mentioned this, he walked off while calling me a “bitch” and told me to “have a nice day”, knowing that they’re enforcing a policy that wasn’t transparent nor communicated. I whole-heartedly do NOT recommend this hotel. No (paying) guest, or human in general should be spoken to like this by a professional.

Pros - nice room, great location Cons - TV & wifi are awful; swapped out remote three times and then realized it was the TV and whatever software platform they use for their cable (extremely outdated) and wifi was virtually non-existent, couldn't pair phone with TV; not acceptable in 2023 - it's a mix of condo apts & hotel rooms; I didn't feel entirely safe being there on my own (no deadbolt on the room door) - you have to ask for housekeeping service; they were running the vacuum at 10p - no coffee shop or snacks on-site I would look at other hotels in the area before staying at this one again if the cons aren't sorted.

We had a wonderful time at our stay here. Even if it was just one night, the hotel did not disappoint! The room was gorgeously modern, extremely clean and very well taken care of (It’s exactly what you see online!) The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom looked so luxurious. Ron at the front desk was exceptional, he provided personalized service when we dropped off the luggage as well as at check-in. This is our first time in Toronto and will not be our last. We were impressed and we will definitely stay here again!!

From the moment I stepped into this hotel (pleading for a very early check-in), everyone—from the front desk clerk who found a room for me, to the hilarious and lovely bartenders (who’d known each other for decades)—treated me with the utmost kindness. It’s extremely close to St. Michael’s Hospital—literally across the street—if you are visiting a sick loved one (as I was). Also very close to the Eaton Centre, which has stores and decent restaurants. The room was clean and spacious—and, dare I say, cute. It seemed to have been recently redone. Great bath products and hairdryer. I would highly recommend. I slept very well.

We chose this hotel for our first visit to Toronto hoping that it would be near to everything & we chose wisely. It is literally just around the corner ftom the central transport hub from where you can reach all the major sights. The hotel is very well maintained & a pleasure to stay at. We would totally recommend it to anyone looking for a good, quality, downtown hotel.

My friends took me to Toronto for an appointment at St. Michaels Hospital for an appointment and we booked at the Pantage, it's great for location being just across the street basically from the hospital so I had little distance to walk. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is very comfortable and roomy, we booked a room with the kitchenette which is great with a full size fridge, stove, dishwasher, and microwave. We didn't need all these amenities, however, they are nice to have. The beds are comfortable and the room is a nice size. The only problem I have is the restaurant, food is good but expensive for their serving sizes, my friend referred to their dinner as a Michelinas frozen dinner size, tasty but very small portion, more like a child's portion. I will still continue to book at Pantages as their hotel is great, I just will eat at another establishment.

Visited here recently, group of 4- a booking of 2 double bedrooms. The rooms are massive and you have a beautiful view of the city. The bathrooms really big which comes with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. You can request a cleaner otherwise they leave you alone- they tell you this upon check in. WiFi is good connection throughout the whole trip. This is free. The gym is good sized, plenty of weights and enough other equipment such as the treadmill and cross trainer. The location was amazing, right around the corner from a food court with 100’s of options. Also right around the corner from City hall which has ice skating in the winter. The hotel is just surrounded by many shops, pubs, restaurants, cinema etc etc. I would stay here again and would recommend!
