My wife and I visited Toronto for our anniversary. Upon check in, we were upgraded to a suite and treated in a first class manner. The concierge, Alec, made wonderful dinner recommendations and couldn't have been more courteous and professional. The staff was great. The Hotel is two blocks from the Rogers Centre and CN Tower. Easy accessibility to the... More

Parking was a reasonable price. Walburgers part of the hotel. Great breakfast restaurant and we where told be others staying at the hotel the in house restaurant was excellent.

Sleek and stylish hotel located close to Entertainment District attractions. Service was excellent. This is a nice alternative to many of the larger chain hotels nearby. Rooms were large, clean, and had nice amenities.

Stayed here while on a baseball road trip. Location was perfect for the walk to the stadium. The room was beautiful. If I could make an observation, for the price of the room the lamp shades were crooked.

The location is super, especially if you are in TO for a weekend getaway. Close to the Rogers Centre and Air Canada centre, lot's of dining and restaurants just a walk away. Our room was lovely and large. Automatic drapes, with good blackout coverage for sleeping. Large closets and bathroom with heated floors, soaking tub and glass shower. The bed... More

Loved the Soho Metropolitan. The check in staff did a great job, rooms were nicely appointed and quiet. We actually opened the window just to hear the traffic noise of the city. The bathroom was very nice with lots of ammenities. The self park garage is right next door and has access to the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay.... More

Unfortunately only stayed in Toronto one night but so glad our friends chose the Soho Metropolitan as it was fabulous. The rooms are very luxurious with beautiful bathrooms, underfloor heating and comfortable beds. It is located very near to the Stadium where we were going to see a bAseball game and our window looked out onto the CN Tower which... More

We have been staying at the Soho Met for many years and always enjoy the Sen5es restaurant and the lobby. This hotel has, probably, some of the finest concierge staff in all of Toronto and the rooms are always perfectly appointed! Molton Brown bath products are my favourite and we could definitely live in this neighbourhood, should we ever make... More

I stayed here three times over the last eighteen months, each time for work and for a fortnight on each occasion. I needed somewhere to be comfortable, spacious and with room both to work and relax. Soho Suites were a perfect base. Reception staff welcome you and welcome you back. They are efficient and charming. I had stayed in the... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
