Just had a fun and interesting stay at the St Regis Toronto. Was traveling with my good friend and when we checked in we were early. They upgraded the room, however instead of two beds there was just one bed. So we had to get a rollaway bed brought in for me. There was a champagne tasting that evening in the Astor lounge. Elsie the butler (and former Air Hostess) did the demonstration and opened the bottle with a large knife and a great explanation of the history. The in room tv was great and shower was awesome. The rollaway bed was comfortable after all. The next morning I had an outstanding breakfast; omelette, bacon, toast ( with high quality jam) avocado, fruit and juice. A truly great experience, thank you Elsie, Annie, Ali and other staff too.
Stayed in August to celebrate our son's birthday and to attend gig at the Rogers Centre. We did so much research to find a hotel as we had never visited Toronto before. The St Regis did not disappoint. Our suite was of a high standard. The emphasis appears to be a focus on providing excellent customer service and this seems to be a priority with staff training - this is a standout feature of the hotel. It is a big hotel and yet the service feels personal - which makes it feel very welcoming. The bars are very nice. The live music downstairs was good. However a lot of the visitors to 'Louis Louis' appeared to be non-residents photographing themselves being seen there for their social media accounts and then staring at their phones! Drinks are expensive, so perhaps some sort of % discount for residents would encourage hotel guests to linger, while still attracting higher budget non residents? We did find the breakfast room service a little inconsistent on occasion over our stay and this was addressed by the front desk to our satisfaction. Overall, we had a fabulous stay and would not hesitate to return. Special note of thanks goes to Elsie (butler services) who made our son's birthday special, to Xavier and Martin (concierge) and to Gina He and Mark(?) on the front desk - all of whom contribute to making the hotel what it is.…
This hotel was simply amazing. Everything about it from the entrance to the Spa and restaurant Louix Louis on the 31st floor; it was all grand, plush, and extravagant. We went for our anniversary and the staff ensured we felt celebrated. The location couldn't be any more convenient; literally in the center of downtown and walking distance from all of the great restaurants, malls, and shopping areas. Don't walk but RUN to the spa. The spa is outstanding. It is so serene and posh, and the attendants remind you that you're at a 5-star property with the level of service they provide. We didn't want to leave the spa. We had 4 different services throughout our week there. We had a corner suite which again was absolutely fantastic. I was working some and the office area was far away from the bedroom so I didn't disturb my family. We plan on going back very soon!…
Stayed at this beautiful hotel for two nights in September. This hotel is a true expression of classical elegance. We dined twice at the 31st floor restaurant Louix Louis. While the food is excellent, the attentiveness of the telepathic serving staff is what elevated the dining experience. We also enjoyed both the story and the spectacle of the evening champagne sabrage at the lobby lounge. Both the lobby and the suites are luxurious and inviting at the same time. For both nights we reserved a deluxe corner suite to celebrate an upcoming wedding anniversary. The suite delivered a feeling more akin to a nicely appointed home than a typical hotel room. It was welcoming and warm. Upon settling into the suite, we received a call from the front desk manager informing us that they had made a mistake for giving us this room with the knowledge that for the next day this entire floor was reserved. For the next day, we were upgraded to a grand deluxe suite with a separate dining area. The top-notch men and women working here are what really sets this establishment apart from all other stay experiences. From the check-in process to room service, everything is very polished. The Butler Team, with a special shout-out to Ali, is truly special. On the second evening we were pleasantly surprised by a build-a-bear style animal, which our toddler absolutely loved. On the previous day, we had inquired about activities for kids. At the time, the concierge told us that the plush animal kits are on back order. The team very likely went out of their way to make this a reality. What appears to be effortless is very often the most difficult to accomplish. Overall, we were blown away by the hotel staff’s high standards and their wonderful customer service. We will no doubt return to St. Regis on future visit to Toronto. Highly recommend this establishment without any hesitation. Thank you St. Regis Toronto for making our stay comfortable and memorable.…
Great hotel in great location downtown. Stayed in two rooms. A king room for one night and a double for 3 nights. Both were impeccably clean. Beds were extremely comfortable. There was no noise at all on either the 15th or 29th floor. Staff were both friendly and efficient. Responded quickly. Marriott Bonvoy app key feature was really convenient. Restaurant was very traditional with jazz music and great ambience. Again servers were very friendly and efficient. Swimming pool is great size for exercise. The King room had a deep clawed bathtub as well as spacious shower. The double had a smaller bath. If I wasn’t travelling with a friend I would have preferred the King as it was very spacious. I think the room was 1509.
Lovely, beautiful hotel in a great central location downtown. We stayed in a king suite which had a living room area and separate bedroom. The room was lovely, bright and had a great view of downtown. The bathroom was also really nice with a good shower and bath. Staff were accommodating and good to work with. The restaurant had an awesome menu, we ordered the truffle chicken to share for the table along with a few sides and it was all very delicious. The pool is also really nice and warm with windows overlooking the cityscape. Overall a good experience.
I've stayed and many of the top hotels in the world and St. Regis Toronto is second to none. Luxurious, great amenities, super comfortable bed, great location. I'm sorry I had to return home. Eating at Louix Lous is a requirement.
Nice room and great service at front desk. Carpet was a bit stained and bathroom grout showed signs of wear. Comfortable beds and great central location. Hotel bar is lovely and has great drinks. Comfortable stay overall.
Lovely hotel in a great location to explore Toronto. I stay at this hotel for 6 nights with my sister and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From the Front Desk to the maids and doorman everyone member of staff we encountered was welcoming and very friendly. We stayed in a suite which was stunning! The bed was extremely comfortable and the maid service was impeccable! If you are in Toronto this is where you need to stay!
We first arrived around 8pm and was set up in a room which was still being cleaned. So they changed us to a new room. Our internet continued to lose connection throughout our 3day stay. We chatted with a few pet and had two people from IT reset the connection but it never took. It was constantly shutting down and restarting throughout our stay. Finally the fire alarm went off at 7am in the morning which interrupted the only day we could sleep in during this visit. The only thing we received for these issues was how sorry they were for the inconvenience. The prices you pay to stay here u definitely expect top notch service!
