Lovely fairly central hotel with easy access to good restaurants, tourist attractions. The hotel has some really fantastic staff, went out of their way to be helpful. Nothing seemed too much. Food for breakfast was pretty good, but a little showy! The bar next to the front door was run by nice people but was lacking in atmosphere. Concierge helped arrange an amazing trip to Niagara which is a must see.
PROS; Very nice hotel- Good location- Great view of the CN tower. Comfortable room and mattress/nice bathroom Great service- Nice restaurant. Nice in room service Negatives; Lobby was a bit underwhelming- Also there was a wait to check in.
After a wonderful stay in Ritz Carlton Toronto a few months ago, I was looking forward to be back, especially this time I was with my family. We stayed for 16 nights during Christmas-New Year period in 2 connecting rooms (club level corner suite and club deluxe room). Everything in the rooms and bathrooms were working well. Cleanliness in both rooms were excellent. Amenities were plentiful. Those things were normal, expected, and can be found in many hotels we stayed before, yet Ritz Carlton Toronto felt so special for us. My wife, sons, and I easily came to an agreement, it was the people in Ritz Carlton Toronto that set this place so far ahead of many many other hotels we stayed in the past. We felt embraced like family from the moment we arrived. The consistent smiles, "welcome back"s, and "how are you"s were enhanced further by more personal short conversations by every staff we met. We really loved and enjoyed those non-intrusive yet caring and sincere conversations. The club lounge was simply wow. How? Again, the people. Of course, food in the club lounge were consistently delicious. We were able to eat almost the same breakfast for 16 consecutive mornings, food had to be good. We understand IF we were bored and asked for other kind of breakfast food, club attendants would have been happy to help out. In fact, they were concerned about that and offered many times if we wanted other kind of breakfast, but we enjoyed what they had there. We visited the club lounge in different times over 16 days, witnessing and experiencing the lounge from the time when it was busy and buzzling, until it was quiet and just us in there. During every day of those 16 days, no matter how full or empty the lounge was, Max and his team (Oana, Emma, Olga, Erika, Neil, Rose, Priscilla) always took good care of us consistently. We felt truly and sincerely cared for, not just as guests but as one of their own family. We are still extremely and incredibly impressed by their care, friendship, professionalism, and empathy during our stay there. We had a movie night suggested by Laarni, and what a wonderful time it was, it was such a simple suggestion yet the experience was simply amazing. Check in and out were very professionally and efficiently done in the club lounge as well. Spa treatment for my wife was wonderful though the spa front desk people could be more friendly and welcoming. We visited Tocca twice, we really enjoyed the food the first time but less so the 2nd time. We also visited Epoch twice, once for dinner which was wonderful and festive tea time which was enjoyable as well. Our stay in Ritz Carlton Toronto felt so wonderful that words cannot fully express how amazing it was. The main factor that made our stay so amazing is the Ritz Carlton Toronto people, every single staff we met made our stay special. Special thank you to: Max: for his care, conversations, professionalism, and excellent restaurant recommendations. He put together such a wonderful team. That team was the main reason for our amazing experience. Oana: for her empathy, sincere and impeccable care, conversations, and stories. It was amazing that she can have conversations with guests and was aware and mindful of other guests needs so that they didn’t feel neglected. She always managed to smile even after caring for a busy lounge. Emma: for her empathy, sincere and impeccable care, conversation, and stories. Emma always remembered what each of us liked for breakfast. She also gave my son a special chocolate and snack package for our long journey home. Emma always managed to care for us all the time. Olga: for her empathy, sincere and impeccable care, energetic personality, and the never-ending smiles. Olga introduced my son to the delicious chicken tenders. She was always very energetic and full of smiles every time we met her. Neil: for his capable work in taking care of our reservations, recommendations, and simply he was the go-to guy when we needed anything. Rose: for her tireless handling of our reservations and changes. Everything was always done right and perfectly. She was always professional, helpful, and efficient in handling our check in and requests. Priscilla: for her effectiveness in handling requests. She was always effective and efficient in handling reservations and check out process. She never forgot anything and always got everything we asked done. Laarni: For her amazing help in reservations. She was very communicative and efficient in handling our reservation. Laarni was so happy and friendly when we finally met. She gave us a most wonderful gift in the movie night. It was such a simple suggestion, however the togetherness that it brought to our family was simply wow, we didn’t realize how much we missed movie nights until Laarni brought it back to us. Pradita: for her help in many many things. Our conversations with Pradita were like ones with a friend that we have known for years. Pradita was always ready and eager to make our stay better, always managed to provide counsels and find solutions to our needs. Kateryna: for her advices and patience in answering my questions and easing my concerns when I was deciding on the best place to stay for my family. I truly appreciate her detailed answers on my questions regarding many things to do, festive season restaurants menu and seats availability, and reassuring answers on club lounge concerns. Luisa: for her politeness, friendliness, and taking care of us during our stay. She always ensured that we had clean rooms and enough water. She left a heart-warming note wishing us well on our journey home. The Concierge team: for driving us to restaurants and nearby destinations.…
From the moment we arrive until we leave, each time we stay at the Ritz in Toronto, we are amazed at their attention to detail, unyielding incredible customer care, and how they make you feel like their most important guest each and every interaction. You will never stay anywhere else once you have stayed there, you will look to say at the Ritz in other cities, and your expectations of customer care will be elevated forever! Enjoy!
My family had a stay at RC Toronto back in Oct. and was going to review it right after, but we was busy planing our new year Maldives RC vacations, so here it is. RC is always a trusted top hotel and resort brand worldwide. RC Toronto keeps its high standard. From the bell boy welcome at the gate to check out, all staffs are very nice and help as much as they can. Kash at front desk was very nice since our room isn’t ready, we went to Epoch Bar had some drinks and snacks. he sent the room keycard to us after it is ready. The room is top renovated and spacious. Bed textures are very soft and comfortable. we stayed in a room face to CN Tower. The hotel itself is very close to CN tower, Rogers Centre and Scotiabank Arena where NHL, NBA and MLB games played. We had afternoon tea and dinner at Epoch Bar and Kitchen Terrace . All drinks and food are very good. The indoor pool are very nice amenity. Although there isn’t any staff attend there, the lounge chaise and towels are comfortable as resort standard. Overall it’s a standard RC luxury city hotel. Very close to all city attractions and convenient to night life.…
My partner and I spent three nights at this amazing hotel. Our room on the 16th floor had a view of David Pecaut Square. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and the bed was incredibly comfortable. But I was most excited about the bathroom. The bathroom was large, bright, had both a bathtub and a shower, the lights automatically turned on when you entered... It was without a doubt one of the most beautiful bathrooms I've ever seen at a hotel. We had breakfasts and dinners at club lounge. The staff there was very nice, they all tried to make us feel good and have everything we wish for. The food was excellent. The hot chocolate with fluffy mousse on top was absolutely delicious. The stay at the Ritz-Carlton was wonderful. It was an excellent experience and I was very satisfied.
Girls weekend away .When we got our 2 room was told a fee$ 25 for mini fridge turned on and no mini bar . I ask staff where the snacks and lounge was , told on the main floor not like what's on the internet (nothing free) went to the business next door for breakfast I drive a older car and as we arrived was asked many times if we were staying at the hotel once okay but not that many times and a fee of $60 to park the car. Cameron could smile once and while wont hurt. The bed was amazing ,rooms clean. Walking distance to the theatre was nice no driving.
Great location. Right between the financial and entertainment districts, new and old Toronto and closer to everything Toronto has in offer. Walk it down to shopping, dining and theatre. Spacious rooms, top notch in room amenities. Driving around is very hectic at peak hours otherwise good. Staff always helpful
This was my 70 th birthday and I fell on the way to the hotel. The people at the hotel from the car valet to the receptionist all went above and beyond. They arranged a wheelchair, sent up ice packs and surprised me with hot tea and balloon and sweet treat. We had dinner with family in the evening at Toca this was not as smooth as we had booked a booth table because we had a young child and my husband had called twice to confirm. They gave us a regular table right by the open doorway to kitchen. My husband complained and after a wait they move us into a private room. Samantha the hostess arranged this and I can’t thank her enough. The food was outstanding and our waiter Tomic was so attentive. Thanks to all for turning a bad birthday into a great one,as Sunday my husband and I had a massage at their great spa.…
One of my favorite places to stay in Toronto. Great location, close to all your touristy needs, fabulous rooms and amenities and the personal touch that just adds the little extra luxury to your stay. From the amazing bathroom to the coffee station. Everything is just that much better at the Ritz.
