My boyfriend and I had the chance to stay at the Hotel Le Germain Maple Leaf Square this summer- what a treat! The service was top notch, our room was gigantic and beautiful. The hotel has a lovely fitness center and a delicious breakfast every morning. Overall, a great stay!

I am a fan of Le Germaine. It is my go-to hotel in Toronto. My first visit to Maple Leaf Square to take in a Leafs game was no dissapointment. Comfortable, chic, just what you would expect of a big city experience.

Stay at this chain whenever possible. Love the style and ambiance. However front desk staff are so impersonal and unfriendly they should replace with kiosks. Breakfast is included here and is continental and awesome. The beds are literally the best anywhere. Finally this chain always picks the best city locations and there are always wicked restaurants and bars nearby.

The stay was excellent. The room was par excellence without being overdone. Very comfortable. Service overall was excellent and friendly. Can't beat the location as it's right in the city centre and a short distance from the Harbour walks and shops.

Stayed for 2 weeks on business and was very happy with the whole set up. Modern rooms which were kept clean. Nice bathrooms too. A continental breakfast is included and cooked items are available for extra cost. The gym is small but adequate. The Play Bar on the ground floor is great in the evening, and the food served there... More

Beautiful hotel, wished pur stay was longer. The room was clean, sleek, sophisticated and well decorated with sports theme art (being in the heart of Jays/Raptors/Leafs land). Free wifi and continental breakfast was a plus and the staff were friendly and helpful. As for parking, the valet is $45 and you get in/out privileges for that and that's about the... More

Great location in entertainment district. 20 min walk to major shopping. Great 5 star hotel. Great and friendly staff. They even did extra things for the kids, like gender-specific pillowcases and mini bathrobes. Very impressed. Would definitely recommend and come again.

what a nice hotel, wow and wow, 50 steps to the Air Canada Centre, parking is expensive, the hotel is expensive but if $329 and up isnt going to phase you and your going to the Air Canada Centre for concert or sporting event, do it at least one time, first class from the start until you leave

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
