Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.

We wrapped up our Canadian adventure here. Location is excellent whether walking or hopping in a train. Close to the water as well. Perfect sports hotel as we could see both the Scotia bank and Rogers Centers from our window. Staff was super pleasant anywhere you went. The morning breakfast is great. Would chose to come back anytime!

Super friendly staff, lovely rooms - with one of the most comfortable beds in my 20+ years of travelling! Short stroll to most locations and transit so a great location if you - like us - were in town for a couple of days exploring. Gregory & Tatiana - Concierge - both very helpful.

Arrived from manchester (England) Friday (21st) midday. Location much better than expected. Close to the station - worth a look for the architecture - and to the CN Tower. We walked into the Distillery district along the front. Great area. The hotel is really good. Would be our choice again. Clean, well planned and executed room. ALL staff friendly, polite and always ready to help.
