Excellent stay at Doubletree Toronto Downtown. Staff was friendly, courteous and efficient checkin. Room was nice size, comfortable beds, nice bathroom with amenities. Staff found a luggage item left behind and secured it for 2 weeks until we returned. Very professional. Nice restaurant in hotel and many Asian choices in nearby Chinatown area. Highly recommend this Hilton property

Hotel's Favorite
I spent two nights here in July. The hotel was very nice. I've stayed in all of the other Hilton brands in Toronto over the past four years, and the staff at this hotel was the best. Everyone I encountered was very friendly and helpful. Unlike the Hilton in Toronto, the DoubleTree still offers a wonderful breakfast for their Hilton Diamond members. The buffet was really good, and the staff was very friendly. I had dinner at their hotel restaurant on my first night, and it was very good as well. I liked the ability to self-park in their garage underneath the hotel as compared to the valet service at other Toronto hotels. It was nice being able to retrieve my vehicle as needed and not have to wait for the valet. Last but not least - their chocolate cookies are incredible!

Ideal location for visiting Toronto with the Roger's Centre and BMO Field easily reached. I found the Front Desk & restaurant staff were particularly friendly and helpful. The room was fine the bathroom seem to have been recently renovated. The only negative the corridor carpets needed vacuming.

Even with the knowledge going in that doubletree is Hiltons “older property brand” of hotels. This property is very poor when you get passed the lobby. Rooms have a musty dingy smell to them. Aged carpet & finishes in rooms & hallways. I would pay 50 more a night to avoid this tetanus shot joint

What a lovely hotel! We got there a few hours before check in and our room was ready. And you get a pretty great, warm cookie upon check in. The room was comfy and quiet. Shower pressure was AWESOME. The swimming pool was open (something that is rare since COVID). Had breakfast at the hotel one day. It was also excellent. The hotel was within an easy walk of transit on Dundas and University as well as the Path system (City Hall access).

Having stayed for a single night many years ago, booked here again for four nights. The hotel is in a pretty good location with a metro station a short walk away or, if you’re travelling light, you can walk from Central Station. Rooms are good, big enough without being huge, clean and comfortable. Staff were brilliant throughout our stay, especially in bar/restaurant, where we also ate one evening. Great choice for breakfast and evening meal was very good too. The only real let-down was all the construction going on around the hotel, which did disturb us from early morning, even when we asked to move to the other side, on a higher floor. Good price for the standard overall

Good location in the city, and in walking distance to lots of places. The hotel is more suited for those travelling with work. The breakfast has a good variety. One restaurant was closed and hadn't been made clear, the other restaurant in the hotel had quite a small menu too. No area for guests to relax, only the bar. A very expensive mini market in the hotel available.

I stayed here for three nights. We had no real winter down in NYC so I flew up here and I was no disappointed. Came in time for the blizzard. Outside my window the snow was coming down from early evening into the early morning on Saturday. I was out a lot so I did not spend much time in the room. A short walk from Eaton Centre off Dundas Street. One benefit of staying here short term is you really don't need to ride the trains. You can even walk to Union Station by making a right on Bay Street then keep going south. A guest told me there was thunder during the night. I did not hear anything but I did see it in the news about the loud thunder. Maybe I got a soundproof room? No noise was able to penetrate the room.
