This place is awful. So... immigration doesn't open till 4am. We board at 5am. It is now 2am. There is NO seating this side of immigration so the airline suggests we sit in the Sheraton lounge. Loads of room. It's empty. We bought some food and wine from the bar. We are sitting on a sofa and my wife nods off leaning up next to me - she is exhausted - and SEVEN times a guy on staff wakes her up telling her she is not allowed to sleep. So unfriendly. My wife is tired/exhausted! I am awake! What is this place??? Disgusting.
Connecting flight canceled by Air Canada, so they provided a voucher for this Sheraton. Hotel restaurant open until 11, which was definitely a bonus. Restaurant staff was pleasant, and although the choices were limited on the "after 10 pm" menu, there was enough to satisfy our hunger. Room was clean, quiet, and wall-mounted toiletries were fragrant, but the coffee maker was disgusting. When I put water into the "tank," water became a brown slug. Rinse several times and ran several cycles before even thinking of making a coffee.
The Sheraton Hotel is located at a short shuttle ride from YYZ Pearson Airport. The hotel has a restaurant & bar, fitness, indoor pool, and offers 249 rooms over 8 floors. Furnishings and decoration provide a dark-brown outdated atmosphere. Staffs are friendly and very helpful. We were upgraded to a club level room on the 8th floor. The adequately furnished & decorated room had desk & chair, bench, TV, wardrobe & safe, a good king size bed, and a small separate bathroom with washbasin, toilet and shower over the bath. All was clean. Flights are coming in right overhead the hotel. Windows are well isolated and have a trickle vent for natural fresh air. Coffee & tea facility & complimentary mineral water in the room. Average Wi-Fi. At floor 8 is the club lounge, with a modest buffet meal served in the evening. Coffee & tea, soft drinks, crisps & fruits are available all day. In the restaurant a good buffet breakfast is served: eggs made to order, bread & toast, cold-cuts & cheeses, butter & marmalade, croissants & pastries, a choice of fresh fruits, orange juice, cereals, milk, tea & coffee. We had a stop-over between two long red-eyes flights. We were happy to have an early check-in and a later check-out. The Sheraton Pearson Airport slightly outdated but comfortable, and we had a good stay. Recommended.…
We stayed one night at the Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel & Conference Centre on December 22, 2022, checked out on December 23, 2022, and left our car at the property for 9 days Confirmation Number: 72591442 and cost of $189.00. We were staying again on our return on December 30, 2022, and checking out on December 31, 2022 Confirmation Number: 72622031 and a rate of $129.00. Our flight was cancelled in Panama on December 30 so we had our travel agent cancel our Reservation Confirmation #72622031 and price of $129.00 for the night as we did not know when we would be able to return home. (part of the Sunwing disaster). We did return on December 31 and when we asked to book a room (our car was still at the property) we were advised that as we cancelled our reservation, we would have to pay the "walk-in rate" of $359.00. We asked if the hotel was completely booked and it was not as we could get a room. We were told that we could book online or our travel agent could book for us to get a cheaper rate. We were advised that we should have "extended" our reservation. This is the most abhorrent treatment of an existing customer under duress due to circumstances beyond their control. Not only did we have a disaster of a holiday and both fell ill and were on medication at the time of our return, but we were also totally taken advantage of by Sheraton, and Marriott Bonvoy. I have advised my travel agent of the treatment we received to make them aware in future to protect other clients.…
After a long haul flight to TO this Sheraton was an extremely welcome surprise. Room completely updated. All business needs in the room. Bathroom clean and loved the sustainable touches. The bed was super comfortable. Fresh and smelled extra clean. The PELOTON room was just what I needed to move my body after 11 hours on a plane. So great. Suggest they add a tread! The breakfast was amazing. Coffee on point and good high end. I spied the bar list and loved the cocktail options. Looking forward to another stay to give that a try.
Attended a conference here. The conference space was excellent and the catered food was very good. Staff at the front desk were very friendly. When we arrived, there was a gentleman having an argument with the front desk staff regarding the temperature of the rooms. When I got up to my room, I began to understand why. The room was 75 degrees. I adjusted the thermostat, to 65 and when I woke in the morning the room temperature was 77. This continued throughout my three night stay. I was able to have the fan running which appeared to help with air circulation but there was definitely no cold air. The beds were clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a substantial amount of hair in the tub, along the bottom edge of the outside of the tub and around the floor. Otherwise, the room appeared clean. …
The front desk evening staff are disrespectful and confrontational. In my 20 years of frequently staying at hotels, this was my worst experience. I will never stay at this hotel again. The management need to replace and or retrain its evening desk staff.
Front desk staff were rude and unhelpful. They treat people like they are worthless. I have never experienced being talked to in such a manner. I would never stay at a Sheraton again because of the staff at this location. Credit card was charged multiple times and they would not honour the rate the hotel was booked under.
We’ve stayed here four times this year. The front desk staff have always been efficient and friendly. At our first visit, I was concerned about the boring looking hallway but the rooms are much better than I expected. They are nicely decorated and very clean. We had no issues with plane or hallway noise. We’ve eaten at the restaurant and it was very good. There are some restaurants nearby and we’ve tried a few but the hotel restaurant is just as good if not better. We like to walk so that’s why we’ve tried the other places. The shuttles to and from the airport have arrived on time or close to it. The drivers are friendly and drive carefully. We’ve parked our car for a number of days at a time and had no problems. The price of the room and the parking fee are included together. We have no complaints. We all know prices are continuing to rise so we’ve decided to try another chain for our next trip. Still, we liked this hotel very much.…
Check was long and I was originally given the wrong room however, the front desk staff was amazing and had the situation quickly rectified. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The pool area is kept clean, with towels stocked and the pool itself is large. The fresh hotel restaurant is a must try—delicious and affordable.
