Not at all pleased. Voted against renewing our groups contract last year. we booked a room 3 months ago to attend a conference in the hotel We requested a King near the elevators as I am handicapped and on oxygen. We found out the Kings were not close to the elevators so settled for a twin queen and promised close to the elevators. On check in we were assigned a room closer to the end of the building a significant walk from the elevators. I ended up spending a lot of my free time in the room because it was difficult to navigate down the halls with my walker and oxygen supply. Checkin staff advised there was nothing they could do for me. Thankfully this is the last year I am obligated to spend more than one night in this hotel.
Over the past number of years this property has continued its less than stellar commitment to customer satisfaction.
Very few dining options in the hotel itself. All are overpriced with less than stellar menus For its price level the fixtures and furniture are spartan at best.

Excellent stay! We had a King room with Sofa Bed and were happy with the space. Appreciated all the extra amenities, including fridge and microwave. Best touch was from housekeeping, who arranged my daughter’s stuffies into cute poses every day. Hotel location is convenient for driving, but not so much for transit to downtown. Pool area is nice but needs some TLC and staff onsite when large crowds are swimming. Lobby bar is a fun atmosphere. We would happily stay again!

Important to know: Hotel is under flight path of incoming aircraft. There are complimentary ear plugs provided in our room.
Nice beds and clean rooms as described. Guests would place their finished room-service trays in the hallway, we noticed these were not removed by the staff for more than 1 day.
This hotel is in an industrial area and there are not many amenities nearby in walking distance. I recommend taking an Uber as Toronto has many fake cab/Uber services, the hotel warned of us this.
Overall 3/5, hotel staff were very polite and friendly. Recommend for a travel or conference stay.

We stayed two nights as we were attending a holiday party in the area and wanted a staycation.
We enjoyed the pool and whirl pool which was not busy at all. We were given a nice upgraded room with a sofa and sitting area, however it was at the far end of the hotel and a little bit of a walk from the elevators. The room was nice and the amenities/toiletries offered great (sewing kit, shoe mint, scope, toothbrush, etc). The room had a fridge which came in handy and we used the Delta Pantry due to my Marriott status. It had coffee, chocolate milk, soft drinks available as well as chips and fruit. I choose the breakfast buffet in the restaurant as the amenity as they didn’t have a staffed lounge (pantry doesn’t have seats). Anisha in the restaurant was attentive and welcoming each morning.
The highlight was the omelette station and I forget the gentlemen’s name, however he remembered me from the morning before and was welcoming and friendly while making the perfect omelette with all fixings. He was engaging with all the guests and really started the morning off right.
Anita from housekeeping was great when she came to refresh our room and was able to locate an additional pair of slippers, which we love and quickly restock items.

If you are a conference organizer, you need to think twice before booking this hotel. The hotel is directly on the airport flight path and there is no sound proofing, other than a pair of foam ear plugs provided for each room. It is very difficult to get a good night's sleep at this hotel due to loud airplane noise throughout the night. We found that other hotels in the area do have sound proofing with much less airplane noise. If you book this hotel for a conference, please book your conference administrators, leaders, and speakers at another hotel where they can get the rest needed to do their work well.
I do want to mention the hotel staff who did their best to be accommodating in every way. I feel sorry for them because Marriott's lack of attention to this hotel sure has made it difficult for them to give their guests a good experience.

Hi bnghill, Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience while staying with us. Your experience with the external noise from the airplanes is not up to our standard. Providing the highest level of hospitality is our number one priority and I sincerely apologize for failing to meet your expectations. I have shared your feedback with the Rooms Division & Maintenance Manager to look into the room condition and address as needed. I will also let the staff know of their hard work. Thank you.

It could be the best hotel in the world, but in this business, service and customer care make the difference. The hotel itself is probably 4 starts. Very clean and ample. Great lobby and plenty of venues to eat and drink. Kudos for the 6 elevators. Never had to wait for one. Rooms are basic but cozy. Good bed and pillows. Bathroom is large but the shower is one of those handhelds that doesn’t lend itself to be very useful. External isolation is not great but considering the plane’s flight path goes exactly above the building, it’s probably acceptable. Now let’s talk about service. I arrived early and asked, if possible, for an early check in. I am a seasoned traveler and I know how these things work. I am conscious of how far they can go for a request like this. But the two people in the front desk were extremely condescending and close to the point of rudeness. I asked almost jokingly if there was something they can do, and one of them lifted the screen, turned it around and said something along the lines of “here, look yourself if you don’t believe me.” I was livid. I retreated and went to my event. A couple of hours later, I went back and the dry and annoyed comment was “I told you the room will be ready at 3 pm”. Again, I retreated. Finally around 2:30 pm, on a break, I reluctantly went again. This time, they gave me the key. I went to my room to freshen up and run into the maid. I asked her when the room had been ready and she told me “11 AM”. That’s when I realized they basically did not wanted to give me the room. Just to summarize, when people lie in your face, you can’t be happy. Even worse when you are treated like a child. The hotel is nice and I would like to give it another chance, but I am not so sure.

Dear RanyDanny, I'm terribly sorry to hear about the experience you had recently while trying to check-in early. This is not conducive of the service I expect out of the front desk team, and will be working with the front office management to address these concerns and correct further bad behaviour. We hope to have the opportunity to make a second impression on you in the future. Thank you.

I had a very short stay here as I arrived at this hotel near midnight after flying into YYZ. I was probably only there for about 10 hours before I checked out to carry on with the rest of my trip.
I had already checked in via mobile app, so all I needed to do was provide my ID and credit card to get my room key. They still have plexiglass shields up which made it really difficult to talk to or hear what they were saying. Otherwise, front desk was nice and even gave me extra vouchers for breakfast (as elite pantry is still closed) as he saw we were a family of 4.
When I got to my room, I immediately felt the room was a bit tight and somewhat outdated. It was clean though, and the beds were comfortable. We did face the road, so road noise was significant. That’s probably why they provide ear plugs. Most of the bathroom looked fairly up to date, except the bathtub itself which looked really scratched up.
We had our buffet breakfast in the Orchid Cafe. Standard breakfast with eggs, bacon, potatoes, breads, cereal, fruit and juices. Service was good.
I did go back to the airport to pick up my rental that morning using the free shuttle service, so that was handy. They pick up every 30 minutes, and is shared shuttle service with the Holiday Inn nearby. When I returned, the front desk kindly provided me free parking to give me enough time to pack up and check out, so I appreciated that.
I didn’t have time to use any other amenities or services, but having at least two restaurants on site looked convenient.
Overall, I was satisfied with my stay. Rooms were a bit tired looking, but I slept fine, and I thought service was very good considering they didn’t have to give me the extra breakfast vouchers for my kids or free parking.

This is the worst hotel to stay at! If you care about your health and well being, do yourself a favour and don’t book this hotel. I stayed here for 2 nights and I got bitten by so many bed bugs. I have bites all over my arms and legs!! When we informed the front desk, they took my name and phone number and said the manager will call me after. The entire management and staff don’t seem to care about anything, because no matter how many times I call them to talk to a manger, conveniently, the manager is not around. I was told by the front desk that they would get someone to come check the room for bed bugs and send me an official report afterwards, but no one has sent anything. No one is reaching out to me, I have to call them multiple times a day to talk to someone because if I don’t reach out, no one will contact me. They don’t care about the safety and hospitality of their guests, and it’s super frustrating that no one is taking these health issues seriously. If I could rate this a 0/5 I would.

This hotel is ideal for a quiet comfortable stay. Staff are caring and considerant, hotel is clean and convenient. The restaurant is 5 star all the way, food was fantatsic. Parking is $18 but decent value considering the location, if it were cheaper for a week I would leave my vehicle.

Poorly maintained property. Called in advance numerous times to ensure a hypoallergenic room due to allergies. Checked in and the state of the room showed peeling wallpaper throughout, exposed insulation in the washroom next to the towels, mold, blackened grout, water damage, etc. I was scheduled to stay 4 nights for a conference and left right away. The management team showed me another room as an alternative but it was so visibly dirty and dusty I knew it was best for my health to move to another hotel.
