Room clean and kitchen a plus. Spent one night but able to walk everywhere. Art Gallery of Ontario (Very cool!) .2 mile away. Saw "Idea of the North" art show there. Awesome! Harbour front 1.6 miles approximately. We did harbour boat tour, outstanding day. Our bathroom mirror was cracked on edges but this was minor. Lobby needs an update. We... More

It all looks nice on the pictures but reality is not that nice. It's old, a bit dirty, a bit broken, but the beds are excellent and the location is excellent too. Don't try the airco at night, it's one of the old fashioned units (30 years old?) that will keep you awake.

Stayed here for 6 nights. Given the price I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, great shower and fantastic location. 30 minutes was to the CN Tower. 5 minutes walk to Queen St and 10 minutes to King St with great restraunts and bars. Safe area, I felt comfortable walking back to hotel at any... More

Cheap parking is available on site. Hotel was a 30 minute walk from the CN Tower and Roger's Centre. The room itself was clean. The air conditioner was really, really loud. Other than that the building is quiet.

This place was very good value for money so I was pretty happy with my stay there. Location is near Chinatown and Kensington area. It is still close enough to walk to Queen Street and union station. I found it great to walk most areas in Toronto. Checking was great, staff very friendly and nice. The room itself was good... More

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel. When we first pulled up I was having second thoughts as it didn't seem to be a great neighbourhood. After we checked in we walked up to Queen street. First thing we noticed is that the neighbourhood was very peaceful and also very close to everything! We enjoyed the room, especially... More

I loved this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was just amazing especially the price we paid for it. Wasn't too out of the way so it didn't take us very long to get anywhere. Would definitely go there again!

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Toronto's main Chinatown has the honor of being the largest in North America. Gaping down across Dundas Street West and Spadina Avenue, the area is a wonderful medley of shops and restaurants, busy signs and bright red gates, a destination for foodie fun. Chinatown's streets are always bustling, packed with people and outdoor stalls hawking fresh produce and products. The restaurants and authentic marketplaces that shoulder in against each other display shining roast ducks and menus studded with dumplings and noodle bowls. The air is pervaded with music. different languages, and the smell of fried food and mouth-watering desserts. Chinatown's restaurants represent a broad range of fare, from traditional Szechuan and Shanghai foods, to other Asian delicacies, including some of the top Japanese, Vietnamese, and Korean spots in the city.
