Arrived at 4:30 pm. Silver members of Marriott. Nothing huge, but she told us we are getting upgraded. Ok. But we booked a king room, and that is what we got. However, the room smelled of smoke. Plus a lovely brown stain on the brown carpet. I called down as I do not want to be blamed for any of this. Told the guest services that the room smells of smoke. We don’t smoke. Plus the brown stains. Not us, all he did was apologize. Said he’d put that on our account. I told him we will open the windows to air it out. He said, yes, and if we need a good spray, let us know. Not wanting to mask the odour, we opened the window. Forgot there’s planes coming and going, but did it anyway. Went to take a shower. The drain isn’t working well. No ventilation in bathroom either.

It's an older hotel, needs a face-lift...but... the staff are super, the shuttle service is one if the best in the area, running every 15 minutes without the need to book, and the location is great. Having a couple of bottles of water in the room, especially when arriving late, is a very nice touch. I had breakfast at their restaurant, and while a tad pricey ($30.00), the buffet had a good variety, the coffee was good and the wait staff couldn't fo enough for me. I would definitely stay here again. : ))

A group of us stayed over night here. Quick, comfortable. The restaurant chef and staff was amazing. They went above and beyond for one of us with a nut/seafood allergy. Chef changed out the deep fry oil to make sure there was no cross contamination. Thank you!

The hotel's facilities are far from satisfactory. The worst is their shuttle staff lie to you with a straight face. We waited in the lobby watching for shuttle for 40 mins, no one shuttle arrived. Since we were almost late for our flights, we asked front desk for help. She just took out a registration form, and asked a shuttle guy coming over. This guy just repeated himself again and again that the shuttle was there and already left, because someone signed a name on the form, but actually everyone (including him) could sign anything on that sheet. This blatant disregard for honesty and customer satisfaction is completely unacceptable. As a titanium member for years. This could be one of the most ridiculous experience I had with Marriott. We don't want to communicate with this hotel anymore, just took a uber and swore never come back.

The room was satisfactory but the staff were very friendly. The restaurant is beautiful and the food was fabulous. Lynne was an excellent server and a different server we had for breakfast was also great and I don’t remember her name. Our Toronto friends plan to visit the restaurant based on our recommendation.

First of all, the airport shuttle, not enough space, it is always full. We waited 45min at the airport and got 3x all ready full shuttle, we had to take a Uber. A small room, a none functionning tv, hair from the previous client on the shower walls, fries baiting in salt and one of the staff knocked on our door at 8h30 just to check if we were still there. Will not go to this hotel on my next travel.

Stayed the night of 12/28 (writing this from the room) as we have an early flight to catch. Arrived at 3 pm and our room was ready, however, we had booked a room (24 hours before arrival) with Club Lounge access and upon arrival, we were told the lounge is closed Dec 23-Jan 2 as they're not busy enough for it to be open. Maybe don't offer that rate on your website, in that case? The front desk gave us $40 off since we were leaving at 4 am and would not be able to partake in the breakfast included with the lounge rate. We booked the lounge rate so we could enjoy included non-alcoholic drinks and snacks in the lounge, which we obviously didn't get since the lounge was closed. It would have been nice if we were offered free n/a drinks from the restaurant to make up for that; instead I paid $3 for a glass of watered down fountain pop that was half full of ice. Anyway. the room itself was clean and the bed was comfortable. The safe didn't work (we didn't bother having it fixed as we had our passports/valuables on us), nor did one of the bedside lamps, and the coffee maker was missing the basket to insert the actual coffee in to. Not what I wanted to find out at 3 am. Good water pressure in the shower, however the body wash and hand soap was some of the worst smelling I've ever used (smells like poultry seasoning). Free wifi was quite fast. The shining star here is the restaurant, where the food was actually quite good and very reasonably priced, and the service was excellent. The hotel offers a free shuttle to Pearson that runs every 15 minutes from 3:45 am to 2 am so hopefully it's running on time as I'd like to get out of here so I can get a coffee!

Check in was a rather cold welcome, compared to my stay at westin across the street. Both the westin and Marriott are dated except the Marriott feels like walking into a 90s room. In comparison, the embassy suites by Hilton similarly priced has wonderful suites, courteous staff. However, The Marriott cleaning crew were on contrast are warm and corteous. The first time I came here in 2018, I had access to the lounge with my bonvoy Amex but not this time. I travel to Toronto a few times a month, I took a chance to see if things had improved in the last 5 years, it is a no. This hotel drops to one of my last picks in the area

This a very good airport hotel. It is well kept, very quiet, nicely equipped (gym, restaurant, etc), and the staff was pleasant. They have a shuttle that runs every 15 minutes to the airport which is great compared to many places that go once or twice an hour.
