This is clearly one of the worst NOVOTEL I've ever stayed at and I booked it mostly because of the Accor loyalty programme I am a member of and it offered a reasonable price which ceased to be perceived like this after the stay. First, the hotel is old and not well maintained. One of the three elevators didn't work... More

great location. hotel stuff very friendly and breakfast was really good and features so many choices. The few bad things about the hotel is the internet being super slow. i felt like i was using a dial up connection.

Just stayed two weeks at this hotel. My usual go to hotel in the area, close to 401 and family in North York. You get to see more glitches when you stay longer and I saw plenty. We were there a week before our daughter's wedding and another week after. We were in the midst of a heat wave and... More

This full-service hotel is part of the Noth York civic centre complex. Modern, upscale, and comfortable facility that is quiet despite being in a busy retail and office complex on Yonge Street. Freindly, ptofessional staff. Rooms are nice but not large. Definitely worth paying upgrade for a renovated room (we've stayed in regular rooms which are quite spartan with tiny... More

I just now checked in before midnight due to the belated flight, wished to take a good rest, but irritated to find the room is worn out and undesirable is many ways : torn and peeled wall paper, broken-corner cupboard, missing lock-bar, stained and dirty coffee maker, claimed “automatic fan” air conditioner literally and frequently no ventilation (suspected to save... Stayed here with my family for my son's hockey tournament played in North York in August. We drove all day from NJ, air conditioner didn't seem to be working for the whole hotel. Was told that the AC was working but other guests had same complaint when I asked in elevator. Other than that location and room were great. Also... More

Unfortunately we were booked at the Novotel for a weekend for a youth hockey tournament. The hotel is outdated, dirty and the worst was the lack of air conditioning. It was a hot humid weekend, and the AC was not functioning in the rooms, dinning room or private party rooms. There was confusion throughout the weekend and the team. We... More

Thanks for your comments, I have answered the AC issues, however also concerned about staffing in Trio, do not understand why there was a service issue, wasn't very busy so i will follow up with Michaela and the team. Let me mention room prices..... in most hockey or sports groups we agree with the organiser a price, it is then... More

We stayed overnight in a standard room (2 double beds) with our two kids. The poor hotel room looked so sad. It is desperately in need of renovations, especially the bathrooms. The beds were not comfortable at all. And funny enough only had one thick cover along with a fitted sheet. Because the room was so hot, this was not... More

Thanks for your feedback, looks like this weekend i will not be able to win, rooms too hot, pool too cold? Well we certainly can heat the pool, i'll get our maintenance team to pull the temperature logs, see what happened. Regards, Michael. More

Hottest day of the year in Toronto - no air conditioning - 18th floor - windows don't open. A STIFFLING sleep :(. Really not fun considering we were in town for medical appointments. The room also was not ready for 3pm check in time. Disappointing. The room was nice and very clean however - unfortunately for $259 they have missed... More

Thanks for your comments. I'm going to put my hands up for any reviews / comments over the weekend of the 13 / 14th. 43 degrees with humidity , hottest weekend of the year. And everyone is right, the A/C couldn't handle it... luckily these temperatures don't happen very often and the same issue in most hotels in the city.... More

For a hotel charing the prices they do, this property is showing its age and not in a graceful way. The rooms are average in size at best... even those on their premium class upper floors are tight if you are staying for several nights as I frequently do. It's very conveniently located near my office which is why I... More

Constructive feedback, thank you. Working on phase 2 of our refurb plan, i'll admit slightly delayed because Novotel has bought out a new room and we want to use it... the first in North America, so planning is taking a little longer than anticipated, but we will get there. Regards, Michael More
