Convenient location downtown and within walking distance of most amenities such as the CN Tower, ferry to the islands, St Lawrence market etc. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are a good size. However, some areas need a bit of attention as the decor is a bit tired - example, we had paint peeling from the ceiling above the shower. But other than that, it was a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

Great place to stay for a night (or more) in order to explore Toronto. Perfect location (just W of Yonge St and less than a 10 minute walk away from Yonge/Dundas). Immaculately clean room, very quiet and the upper floors boast a great view. Make sure to ride with one of the two scenic elevators! The indoor/outdoor pool comes in handy when it's sizzling hot downtown. Very kind reception staff. Thank you!

Very nice but you would think the Hilton could offer you proper cups or lugs with an actual spoon instead of paper ones, oh and some coffee to put in it with milk would be good.. Gosh our budget hotels, travel lodge offer that! Just saying.. Other than that.. Very nice

We visited over the Labor Day weekend. We live in the GTA region so stayed at this local Hilton for a family weekend. Our requirements were just a pool (for our kid) and a pool bar (for the parents). The lobby is very nice and the staff friendly. We were disappointed that our room wasn’t ready until 4:30 as it was such a short visit for us. The room was dated but a good size and clean. The pool area, the main reason we visited, was a massive disappointment. As many people have mentioned here on Trip Advisor, the pool is very dirty. The pool bar was closed the whole time we were there and just seemed to be a dumping ground for garbage. We had breakfast included as a Gold Honors member which was great - coffee, pastries, muffins and cereal. Enough to set you up for the day. I’ve stayed in a lot of Hiltons, this one missed the mark for our stay unfortunately.

Hi BlondeMagpie10, I am sorry to see the 2-star review, and please accept our sincere apologies for the disappointment caused to you. This is definitely not the standard we strive for and I will make sure to work closely with our team to review the condition of our pool. We very much regret that your last visit was tarnished and would like to thank you once again for sharing your comment with us as it is only through such valuable feedback that we can improve our service standard.

I visited Toronto for a couple of nights. The purpose of my stay was to attend a friend’s wedding. Overall, I would give the hotel five out of five stars. I stayed on the 25th floor in one of the suites; I had received an upgrade and the view of that room was spectacular. I also had in room dining and breakfast. I didn’t have any problems with my stay and I believe that the staff is efficient. I will be definitely coming back.

I was in town for a concert at Massey Hall. I am a frequent visitor to Toronto, but this was my first stay at the Hilton. The good: The good location is excellent, a quick walk to Union Station, dining, shopping and transit. The room was very clean and comfortable with a partial view of the CN Tower. The valet service was also excellent and the staff working valet were very friendly. The not-so-good: Check in was a bit frustrating. We were a little early for check in. We decided to brave the considerable line anyway and see if our room was ready. It wasn’t, so we happily had a drink in the lounge waiting for a text from reception indicating we could check in. Check in time of 4:00 came and went. Then 4:45. No text. After another lengthy wait in line, we were able to check in but never got the text our room was ready. The pool area is quite nice; the pool itself is sort of dirty. Empty booze cans around the edge in the morning and scummy algae on the tiles above the water. The water pressure in the shower wasn’t great and the towels were small and scratchy.

Hi Edradour, thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review! I am delighted to learn that you enjoyed our location and the services provided by our valet team. Please accept our apologies for the delay you experienced during check-in due to the hotel's high occupancy and thank you for bringing to our attention the condition of the pool - this is definitely not the standard we strive for. I will make sure to review this with our team. Once again, thank you so much for sharing your feedback with us and it is only through such honest feedback that we would be able to improve. Date 8/12/22 at 1115. Hi my family 2 adults 2 children witnessed the main bar tender, and a waiter arguing in the main lobby bar at 1115 pm. This was in front of 30 guests. The Manager in a brown suit was standing next to the staff arguing but did not intervene. Guests in the bar were looking at the argument with concern. I said to the manager the this behaviour was not acceptable for customers to see. I ask Hilton Management team to explain why the training and development process of staff in customer facing roles has missed this? In Earls restaurants, which is a comparable bar or at the Fairmont hotel chain you never see this? Please explain. Thanks Colin

I was here for a business trip in late June, 2022. We decided to pay for the upgrade to the Executive level, and for 2 people (or more), it is worth it to access the lounge for the great breakfast and dinner appetizers (that could be used as a full meal). The fitness center had good equipment that was well maintained. The wifi in the room worked well, and the room was clean. The staff was very nice during our interactions.

Myself and my Partner stayed here for 5 nights before we went into Vancouver for another 5 night back in early June. First impressions, the doormen were absolutely miserable, no welcome greeting or offer to help with cases - nothing. HUGE queue for checking in, however, it did go relatively quickly. We were in the King Superior room which was very big compared to what I thought it would be like size wise, with an amazing view out across the city. We were very high up and did hear noise throughout the night but what do you expect in a big city like that. The cleanliness of the room was fine, nothing terrible, nothing great. The bed however, was incredibly comfortable and wish we could have brought that home with us. The pool area up on the roof had amazing views again and LOVED the fact that the outdoor pool was heated. The location was perfect for us with everything on our doorstep. The only thing which shocked us massively, and this isn’t anything obviously to do with the hotel itself, was the sheer amount of homeless people literally lying in the middle of the pavements outside and even one man was lying with his legs into the middle of the road with his head resting on the kerb as a pillow. Never did I expect to see this and soooo many homeless people in Toronto. Mattresses in the middle of the pavements with people sleeping on them. Very very sad to see and I’ve been to many large cities across the world and never seen it as bad as that before. This and the general “vibe” of Toronto, left us feeling a bit unsafe walking around even during the day at times and quite intimidated. I would definitely not have walked anywhere on my own, day or night for example, without my Partner with me which was again, really sad to have to report as I honestly expected people to be really friendly and it was the total opposite. (Vancouver was only slightly better on the friendly scale but even then, it was like pulling teeth!). All in all, the hotel itself was perfectly fine, very clean lobby area, rooms were ok but could maybe do with a bit of a revamp but the location is ideal. Would return to the hotel in the future if we went back.

Had a great stay for one night when our AC was down for a few days during a heat wave. The pool was great! Good menu and drinks. We ended up in a suite and it was very comfortable with a king bed and living area. We had dinner at Tundra which was decent and the lobby coffee in the morning was great. Overall a good stay
