The Hilton is what you would expect from a downtown high end hotel.Amenties are fine. The executive breakfast with a view is a great place to plant yourself and your tablet. But don't bother leaving the hotel to eat , the restaurant is just excellent. Great food, plating and innovative recipes.

The hotel is situated right in the center of everything so it is walkable distance to all the main attractions and downtown streets such as Queen street and King street BUT the hotel is expensive - so if you can afford I would recommend for the overall experience

Nice location in the city centre. The room had a nice city view – 23rd floor. The room was clean, large enough with a coffee machine. Bathroom probably remembers many guests. Internet connection was good.

I have stayed at the Hilton in Toronto( on Richmond St) many times( and Hilton's all over the world) but the service keeps on getting better and better. From the housekeeping staff to the parking attendants to the kitchen workers to the front desk, the smiles and service never stop. For the price( mid-range) you get top-notch( high-end) service and... More

My family of four stayed here August 18-August 20. The hotel is in a prime location within walking distance to all the major downtown locations. The rooms were more spacious than I expected for a downtown hotel and quite clean and quiet. Some great restaurants nearby with Burger Priest and Sunset Grill for breakfast being standouts. Worth checking out is... More

The location of this modern hotel is excellent. As usually I chose a Hilton Executive Level room that turned out to have a lot of space and nice views towards the City Hall, but not much more. For the first time in a Hilton Hotel anywhere in the world, as an Executive Floor guest: * I did not have access... More

Another week in the Toronto Hilton. It's a fine old place but needs some updating. Nothing new about the Hilton but it could be so much more. The restaurant is a 7/10 and insanely expensive - coffee & toast in the morning, $10.75. Room service for a burger and pie was over $50.00. That's silly. The beds are VERY comfortable,... More

Went down to the city to go for dinner and a show. Decided to stay at the Hilton. Stayed there before and hotel continues to be just ok. Rooms are nice and clean and decorated well. No bath in the room only a shower which seems like a cheaper retro fit. Elevators are terrible. Waiting a long time every time... More

The Hilton is nicely located in downtown Toronto near metro, trolley, and bus stops. It is also very convenient to restaurants and attractions -- overall it is an excellent base from which to explore Toronto. I visited with a toddler, so I will base this review on my experience visiting with a young child. While this hotel is probably better... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
