Checked in on a Saturday afternoon around 4:30pm. It took us 10 min just to get to the front door of hotel as there were lots of cars arriving. Park across the street at public indoor parking lot for $18/day as hotel only offers valet parking at $48/day. Check in took almost 1 hour due to lots of people checking... More

It was a little disappointment for our family vacation in Toronto. The location was great and walking distance to all the shopping and the hop on hop off bus. We chose Sheraton because the location was great and we thought it should have clean and comfortable room. But the room was really worn out with torn patched curtain and dirty... More

I am a visitor to the Sheraton at least 3-4 times a year for functions . This was the first occasion where I can honestly say I was a little disappointed. The rooms were hot and air could not be adjusted as well as I had to ask several times for an accommodation I had requested in advance and had... More

Everything you'd expect from a big SPG property in a major city. Very nice accommodations. Generally good service. Gym is really nice. I was there the weekend of Caribana, a huge festival, and they did a good job with crowd control. Location can't be beat.

My daughter, daughter in law and myself spent an evening at the Sheraton while seeing the play "Wizard of Oz". Our room was small but clean and the beds were very comfortable. The front desk at check in were very efficient and pleasant. We had breakfast in the BnB restaurant - expensive, but it is Toronto, The Wait staff was... More

As the name sheraton perceives regalness and class, so did the lobby upon our entrance. It was lively and fun with visitors leaving in a blur.Overall the few minutes in the buzzing lobby, only built up the expectations towards the room. Its safe to say the expectations fell to quite a drop after. The beds were decent but tphe room sported a miniscule... This hotel is pretty large, and did a great job to accommodate our conference. Pretty typical in this area. All conference rooms and ballroom available by a series of escalators jetting up and down from the lobby. There were however, a couple of smaller conferences and wedding parties there, so at least when we were there, a lot of people... More

Stayed at Sheraton for one night. The hotel is very big with many rooms but they manage to keep a very good stantard. Check in was good and reasonably fast considering the hotel was packed. The room is very spacious with flat TV, the bed was very good, I had a good night of sleep. Our room had a nice... More

Àn entrance like in an airport, Many elevators , halls, restaurants .... Besides à relatively high rate, you should add 48$ per day for parking, 5$ for marketing fee(!!!) 14$ per day for wireless connection At the end , an extensive night in a casual small room without view. Only 2 positive aspects a large pool and a great location!

The location was on the middle of construction, the parking was not available to guests, sold out we had to park 2 garages over. The staff was not personable, the hotel overall look was not kept clean for a Sheraton. The room was dirty, the bed uncomfortable.no free access even if you do pay for high end room. Stay away... Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
