I book this hotel when attending trade shows at the Toronto Conference Centre. It is an easy walk to the conference centre and I like the updated styling of this hotel. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable. There is cheap parking at the hotel with lots of restaurants, variety stores, grocery stores and pharmacies(if needed) close... More

This is an awesome hotel on the harbour, downtown Toronto. It is close to the Rogers Centre, Aquarium, Steam Whistle Brewery and it's on the transit line so you are able to access all areas of the city. The rooms are fresh and clean but due to the hardwood floors they were a bit dusty. The pool is small but... More

Quick check in, no upfront hidden costs, very clean, great view, awesome bubbly and happy staff! The view is great either way...either the CN Tower or the lake. The pool os only seasonal but, there is plenty to do in the area.

The hotel was very nice, and located on the waterfront trail. It is a 12-minute walk to the most useful transit connection, so it could be costly if you have to take taxis instead. The room was attractive, and spacious and clean. The bench and closet/shelf near the door were very handy. The desk staff were helpful, providing a luggage... More

Got a fantastic TravelZoo deal and stayed here early January. Great location, and lots of choices of restaurants, shopping, etc within walking distance of hotel. Rooms are very spacious, and furniture is modern. Would be a great place to stay in the warmer months because of location to the lake. Starbucks is in lobby for those interested.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
