We have stayed here before and use to be happy with the service. This time March 24/2023 we had a reservation booked 4 months ahead of time. They new loyal elderly IHG member where coming. At midnight we called to complain about the loud hallway yelling and slamming of doors. At 1:45 AM we had enough and wanted our money back. Front desk said; Was a large group of university students just blowing off steam and having fun. OK. even a new manager would put them on 2 or 3 floors all to themselves. you have 16 floors. We only live 2 hours from the hotel and come into Toronto for Mirvish shows. So we drove home at 2 AM. Dead tired and jet lag as I am writing this.

Nicely located a walking distance from Downtown, shopping malls Mirvish theatre etc Parking - secure , self park and priced about 20 dollars less then some other establishments. Front desk and hotel personnel- super friendly and welcoming . The biggest plus - rooms are super clean and bed are super comfy . Window opens for fresh air which is a big plus :) Microwave, small fridge and coffee maker provided. Breakfast is included with lots of seating accommodations, self served with nice choices . It a smaller room that we are used to but not cramped and it has all you need on a quick get away . Congrats to the management . Well done .

Clean, clean, clean. Great location. No restaurant in the hotel, but there are lots of local restaurants and shops nearby. Room price included a hot breakfast with a large array of food items from cereal, to eggs, sausage/bacon, yogurt, fresh fruit, pancakes, muffins, warm cinnamon buns, etc. and it was constantly being replenished. Room also included a mini fridge and a microwave. All the team - from reservations to housekeeping to breakfast service to maintenance were terrific and moral seemed very high. Friendly, knowledgeable about the area, directions, etc. We stayed here two nights and will definitely be back.

The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was beyond expectations. Everything was excellent- even the parking garage had decent sized spaces to park. We plan to return next time we're in Toronto. Dan

I used this motel for close to 20 years, but there prices went almost 3 times the prices they were, for the same things. The owner change hands, then all my points, were suppose to go to me, as I did go there to the hospitals 3 times a year, sometime more. And no they wouldn’t give them to me. There was a separation at the time, and even because My visits, as a women, the man got all the points. The card name was in both our names. They could of perhaps divided them in two, give half to him, half to me. Then they were rude, and said no. My husband at the time, had no idea about the points. But us staying there for over 20 years, we brought people there from, our area, overseas, for are mining business,-(PDA ) They told me if I didn’t like it, Go to another hotel. I haven’t went back, and have told others about the service, I received. They haven’t when back either. It was local, we new the area, quite well as I did my Nursing at one of the hospitals. And lived in Toronto. Make sure if your there as a patient for a hospital visit, look on your receipt, as they charged us full price. As they said they could get the higher price, and it was acceptable now not to honour the hospital visits.

We choose this hotel because of its location and it was pretty much perfect. Right beside a small green space park near the Flat Iron building. The rooms are excellent and have heating/AC as required. Got a room with a view on the top floor which was spectacular. Room comes with fridge and microwave which is a nice bonus. There is a local store, plenty of restaurants and the St Lawrence Market to help feed yourself. Breakfast was good with plenty of options and enough ‘portable’ items to helps with daytime snacking. The location allows for easy/moderate walks to all of the downtown areas including Harbour front, Distillery, Corktown, CN Tower, Kensington, Chinatown.

Toronto hotels can be very expensive. The rate at this hotel was reasonable. Check in was efficient. However the 1st room I was given was not good. The room smelled musty, like an old ashtray. The next morning I brought this to the attention of the front desk and the representative was very understanding. Sent someone up with another room key and that room was perfect. No odor and everything worked. I was quite pleased. Breakfast was adequate. Check out was easy. Hotel is on the fringe of an area one might not want to venture in at night. But during the day, it was a simple walk to the theaters, arena's or other tourist areas.

Traveled with a tour group. Hotel location is convenient to St. Lawrence Market and walkable to most things downtown if you are a good walker. My room was on the street side and was fine except for the noisy street. Spent Friday and Saturday night here. Noise was not too bad on Friday night but Saturday night had loud cars going past until about 4 am. Not sure if that is typical for Saturday night. The breakfast was good. The shower had very low pressure. The room itself was ok just nothing special.

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel for the great location near downtown. Nice and clean spacious room , exactly described at the website. Comfortable bed , washroom is a bit small but clean and updated. Walking distance 20 minutes from Union Station , very convenient. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Friendly and helpful staff at the front desk, much appreciated their cheerful attitude to the guests. Housekeeping was at the request no problem! Done, thank you. It’s good to have clean washroom during the stay. Thank you ! Free breakfast, lots of choices, that was enough for the basic breakfast . Coffee, tea, breads, sausages, scrambled eggs, scones, bananas, oranges, milk, yogurt etc. Also a pancake machine for making pancakes , but I didn’t like the texture of pancakes, it’s tasted different from the normal pancakes. Check in and check out are very efficient and fast. Will come back again next time. I recommend this hotel to friends.

Travelling with family (Aug 22 thru 29) to explore Toronto major downtown attractions: Union station (travelling to/from airport by Union Express), CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium, Toronto Eaton Centre, Yonge-Dunda Square, Entertainment district (Soho), St. Lawrence Market, Distillery District, Royal Ontario Museum, Eataly (famous Italian dining and supermarket), Casa Loma, University of Toronto (constantly ranked #1 or #2 in Canada), Spadina, University Blvd, Jack Layton Ferry Terminal for heading to Centre Island, Harbourfront Centre, etc. Most of attractions above are within few blocks walking distance. You could explore thru massive underground mall (PATH) to and from the hotel, and/or with Ride Hailing (Lyft or Uber) would average range between $8 to $15. This is a great value hotel, clean, spacious, free hot breakfast (love that cute automated pancakes maker -> push 1 button for 2 pancakes). Both front desk staff and breakfast area are cordial and attentive. The WIFI at night could sometime be slower at night, understandably with increase usage when the hotel guests are mostly back in their room, but reasonably fast in the morning. Likewise for the shower water pressure. These 2 areas perhaps could be improved. Would love to come back again in the future.
