Good location for the harbour front, CN Tower, and downtown Toronto. Helpful staff who suggested and arranged the Hop-on/Hop-off sightseeing tour bus which was a good way of seeing the city. Rooms good size and excellent free Wifi in all areas of the hotel. Good hot and cold buffet breakfast available but may be a little pricey.

Stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks with my GF during World Pride. Can not fault reception or housekeeping, both second to none. Never ate at the hotel so can not comment on food quality. Would deffo stay at the Novotel again, next time we visit Toronto City. Happy all round!

My daughter and her friend were attending a concert at the Kool Haus. I wanted a hotel close to the venue and close to Union Station. Novotel fit the bill. It is an easy 10 minute walk from Union, and the concert was a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The girls enjoyed their concert and I was able to...

I had been trying to book this hotel for a week and finally gave up and booked elsewhere. Trip advisor had a deal, but the link took you to a page on the Accor hotels website that was outdated (the special had new dates for the same deal, but the link had the same deal but with old dates so...

Thank you very much for your review. From the comment above, it seems that you booked through the Tripadvisor site which is not controlled by us. It is an independent company. We offer the same rates on our website, where we would be happy to make any changes or adjustments if needed. I would suggest that you use our site...

When I booked this room I knew I wasn't going to get some sort of gorgeous view of the city or waterfront, or some 5 star super resort with turn down service, what I wanted was a comfortable hotel in a excellent location, and in that respect, the hotel met and exceeded those expectations! While the area is undergoing quite...

A nice enough hotel and well located near most downtown Toronto attractions. The only problem, as a brand for Accor, is Novotel's around the globe are falling behind there other properties. Our room was old and dated and really needs a renovation. Can't fault staff as both front desk and bar/restaurant were very accomodating.

Just what it says in the name, central for everything in Toronto. Easy to find from the Airport Express Bus, with directions from the Driver. Check in very good, the room key card is also for the lift to all floors. Our room had everything we needed including toiletries but looked like it may be due for decoration. Bed pillows...

This hotel is in a busy area of downtown. At the moment it is surrounded by on-going construction, particularly in the close-by harbor area. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has parking in a public car park below the hotel. The room was comfortable and clean, but generic. The bar was fun and the staff welcoming...

Stayed at the hotel for a couple nights. Bed and pillows were very comfortable as was the duvet. Rooms are a nice size and really liked the hand held shower attachment - not something you normally find in a hotel. Breakfast in Cafe Nicole was awesome! A great variety that included Eggs Benedict, French toast and lots of fresh fruit....

Quiet room. Front desk reception staff couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. Cleanliness of room excellent. Didnt use restaurant or room service. Would definitely stay here on my net visit to Toronto. One small thing: No magnifying mirror in bathroom. Apart from that small 'complaint ' everything was perfect.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
