This is a beautiful newly renovated property in downtown Toronto. We had a family wedding and everyone stayed here. We had a brunch at the restaurant and they accommodated our 'gluten 'free' requirements. Eggs were warm and everything was delicious. Staff were excellent - polite, friendly, helpful. All excellent!

Me and my boyfriend went to this hotel over a weekend! This hotel was amazing. Large room, large bed - and comfy! :) Hotel is located very centrally in Toronto and its walking distance to everything! Very friendly and helpful staff! We also had a meal at the restaurant one evening, good food, nothing special but absolutely ok if you...

This hotel is excellent.....we stayed at one King west a few months earlier just to try things out and that experience was terrible. OMNI offered in room service for breakfast and no one rushed you our of your room.....whereas One king West offers no breakfast...and so you check out as soon as possible when you get hungry....quite the ploy......OMNI King...

We have frequented the King Edward many times and continue to be pleased with the service and facilities. We had to change rooms to accommodate an additional person mid-way through our stay and it was no issue. In fact, they offered to have someone pack us up and move us while we were out! The front desk was efficient, the...

On our recent trip to Toronto for a Mirvish show we had the pleasure of staying overnight at the Omni King Edward Hotel. The hotel is magnificent. Common areas are bright, clean and extremely well appointed. Our room was spacious and elegant. Our breakfast in the Victoria Dining room was the perfect ending for our stay. Great food and the...

We stayed here for a wedding being held locally during New Years eve. We couldn't have asked for a better room/ experience. The cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness and knowledgeably of the staff were top notch.

Having spent 8 days in blue mountain with NO SNOW, we needed a bit of luck and a good time. This is exactly what we received as soon as we arrived. A gentleman was there to greet us and take our bags, and very friendly if I may add. Upon checking in, the lady behind the desk was more than...

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
