My husband and I stayed for one night to celebrate our anniversary. We got the Romance Package and as promised, the concierge contacted me a couple of weeks before our stay to see if we had any special requests. I was able to arrange to have afternoon tea and sparkling wine brought to our room when we arrived, which was...

The hotel is conveniently located between the financial district and the old town and the biggest sightseeings are in walking distance. The hotel is comfortable and offers excellent service, starting from the valet parking to the room service. Stayed at the hotel four nights.

Very nice Hotel and fine food nice service and people. Only complaint we had the entire weekend in Toronto had nothing to do with the Hotel. It was the cab drivers that had no idea where things were in the city. We gave one the name of the church and the address, he drove all over and keep asking us...

Fantastic hotel, staff and location. A real gem in the heart of downtown. Close to the St. Lawrence Market, Eaton's Centre, Air Canada Centre and tons of good restaurants. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Toronto.

Despite not having a pool, this is my six-year-old's favourite hotel! That probably tells you all you need to know. Both check in and check out were extremely quick and efficient with welcoming staff. The room was lovely and comfortable with a beautiful bathroom. Doorman and valet were friendly. The lobby was beautiful and the location very central to downtown...

Pre Valentine's Day getaway. Third stay here. Very nice accomodations. Staff friendly and helpful especially Jessica in the members lounge on the 11th floor. Had a treatment at the Nouvelle Maria Spa...not only was this convenient, the environment was serene and run very professionally. Was treated like a Queen...thank you Maria and all your staff. Will definitely be returning to...

One of the greats. Maybe we lucked out on a spacious corner room. Maybe we lucked out on a great sale room rate. I'll probably never know pending a definite return visit. Great hotel, great service, great food. All in all a great place to stay. Only downside was that we couldn't stay longer than our original booking because the...

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
