Celebrated my daughter's 23rd birthday and her first time in Toronto. We were welcomed with a very professional and friendly staff. They even brought my Daughter Chocolate Covered Strawberries and a Birthday Card.

The decor was great, it had lots of rooms, the bathroom was excellent and the location was close to everything. We were able to walk to the Hockey Hall of Fame and to lots of...

Stayed here for the night on a shopping trip. Beautiful hotel. Impressed by the service, cleanliness of the hotel and quality of the food. The location was great. Steps away from trendy restaurants and great shopping. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

This was my secret md time staying at the Kind Edward in 4 years and I believe it was under another flag back then. If you are in Toronto for business, this is the perfect hotel. Centrally located, decent breakfast, good restaurants nearby. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The accommodations are nicely appointed and comfortable. All in all...

Fabulous hotel! Upon check-in we were given the choice of upgrading, which we are glad we did ($30 extra). Great suite with very comfortable bed. Friendly staff everywhere. Located in the very centre of town~ walking distance from great restaurants, shopping, St. Lawrence Market and much more! Highly recommend this hotel.

It's was amazing experience. Elizabeth at the front desk was so nice. I would definitely stay here again!! They even brought us strawberries to our room for our honeymoon. The only thing I would say is that the cleaning woman kept knocking.

The room was clean and the hotel was fantastic! Excellent service and we loved our stay. The lobby bar was a great place to relax and the location of the hotel made it easy to walk anywhere for dinner.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
