The Cambridge Suites Hotel is perfectly located with many of Toronto's sights a short walk away. The Easton Centre is a few minutes walk. Suites for the price of a hotel room is excellent. All the usual room facilities are present - AC, safe, iron, fridge, microwave, free wifi, etc.

This was a wonderful hotel! We came here back in May and we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel room was very clean and was comfortable overall. The location is in a very convenient area and it's easy to get to various attractions. The price was reasonable (for an expensive city) and we would stay here again if we're in... More

I'm confused about all the hype surrounding this hotel. It's in an okay location with okay amenities, but I don't think the price matches what we got from the place. The room was quite small for being a suite. There was not much room to walk around and my family of 4 felt quite cramped. The furniture was beaten up... More

We checked in for a nice weekend for a bachelorette. The majority of the girls flew in after a long trip. Unfortunately due to our age - ranging from mid 20's to mid 50's. A completely responsible group of girls with the intention of having a good time. Going out was fun, the proximity to various attractions across the city... More

This hotel is in a great location, if a bit pricey. Corner of Richmond and Younge. Can walk anywhere, including tram and metro. Service at front desk is ok, could be a little more attentive. Some of them seemed to not know how to run the computer. Some didn't even look up to acknowledge you were there while they were... More

Hotel was clean and people were friendly. Room was spacious with a nice city view. Perfect location in the heart of the city. Easy walk to everything. Hotel has a garage but you need to pay. Normal for a city. Highly recommend.

Look at some of the positive reviews, they praise the hotel for having a bathroom. Sure, if that's your benchmark, it's A-okay. The service here is just abysmal, booked a room for 5 and yet we were still questioned when we walked into the hotel. Even the manager didn't know anything about the room. Terrible hotel experience, not worth the... More

Dear Tom R, At Cambridge Suites Toronto, our maximum occupancy is 4 adults for safety reasons and it is our team's responsibility to enforce this policy. Our booking engine and reservations team does not in fact accept reservations for 5 adults. Thank you, - Mira Karasik More

We stayed for 3 nights in September 2016. Just arrived from UK so jet-lagged. Room (deluxe suite) on 19th floor, quiet, good view on the city. Clean and tidy but getting a bit tired - we'd stay there again if we were in town. Just what you'd expect at the price. Breakfast down the block at Sunset Grill was great.

Room was comfortable with doors for privacy in the bedroom. My 21yo daughter slept on the sofa. The room had a small refrigerator & microwave. I used the on site gym which was small & I did not try the off site gym or the jacuzzi. The location is walking distance to main train station from airport & CN tower... More

My advice is to avoid this place as they completely disregard the request received from travel sites (Booking.com, Expedia, Hotel.com, etc). They gladly and cheerfully take the money but when it comes to honoring what's advertised on those sites, they claim that they have no responsibility and it's [travel site's] problem. Ironic how the problem doesn't seem to stop the... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
