This hotel is in the mid-range category of hotels. The location of the hotel is the true shining star. You are within a one or two minute walk from the center of downtown Toronto. The Eaton Centre and Dundas Square are literally right at your doorstep. The hotel is clean but in slight need for a refreshment.

Clearly a winner located right beside the Eaton Centre. Rooms are quite small but decent. Housekeeper gets a little bit anxious around check out time. Funny though. Paid parking is at an adjacent building but decent considering downtown Toronto. Drive slow as you approach the hotel as you can easily miss it. We parked at the hotel and did the... More

Overall this hotel was fine. The rooms were quite cramped for two people and if we stayed there again, I would pay extra for the bigger room. The interior was nicely decorated and had updated finishes in the bathroom. The air conditioning was strong at times but that's not the worst thing in the world. The view and location was... More

I'm just home from a 4 day stay at the Bond Place and couldn't have been happier. It was very central and handy to everything we wanted to do in Toronto. It was clean and had the amenities that we needed at a reasonable price. I went to ask what the best way was to get to the ROM and... More

We stayed at the Bond Place Hotel for a long weekend in Toronto to catch a couple of Jays games. It is steps away from Dundas Square and the Eaton Center. Tons of restaurants and things to do right outside the doors. About a 25 minute walk, or $10 cab ride to Rogers Place, Ripleys aquarium and the CN Tower.... More

The lifts were the cause of some angst. Witnessed an irate middle aged tourist having a hissy fit as he had waited at least twenty minutes one morning. Plugged out AC as I thought I was sleeping near a helicopter. Rooms tidy, clean but small. Functional rather than luxurious. Most of staff were friendly and open, one was a bit... More

Do to plane delays, we were put up at the last minute in this Hotel. I probably would of never picked it myself, but am totally impressed with my experience. Check in and out was easy, staff were friendly and helpful. We had a room with 2 single beds, and although the hotel houses smaller rooms or as some refer... More

My fiance and I have stayed here 3 times now when attending events in Toronto. The rooms are small, but have exactly what you need . They have modern updates and we have found them very clean all times we have stayed. Room was ready ahead of time which was great as well. Tips: They have a great government rate... More

We stayed for 3 nights,,got to Toronto early in the morning and was able to check in at 10AM! Really liked that! We had a small room but very comfortable as we only were there to sleep! So much to do during the day, staying in the room was not on the top of the list. Within walking distance to... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
