Quirky friendly hotel. Some would find it old fashioned but we liked this aspect as it was homely. WiFi excellent. The staff on reception were charming . Kevin Lee Manager looked after my 89Year old mother as did Via. When they saw mum on a...More
My wife and I wanted to get away for a quick weekend trip, and decided to visit Toronto. I booked the Bond Place Hotel, as it seemed to be in a good location for us to easily visit as many tourist spots as possible.
Bond Place well exceeded my expectations. I had expected rock-bottom basic, but it's way above that. Spotlessly clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed, attractive decor, but most of all, friendly and helpful staff. One even apologized for the construction on Dundas! Cafe is a delightful...More
Hotel is in a great location, close to Eaton Centre, public transport and restaurants. The room was clean and nicely decorated however the wi-fi service was terrible. I was able to connect to the wi-fi on my laptop however it was very slow and kept...More

At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of
vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
You get a queen bed and you can pick a second full size or two twin beds. There are other bed configurations you can also chose from. And some have two TV's.

We rented a car, when coming from the airport but returned it two days after and just used the metro buses etc
When returning we went to the airport by a taxi that Donna requested for us it cost about 55 Canadian.
