Front desk staff were very nice, they gave us a room with an awesome view of the city without asking because there was one available. Rooms were clean hotel very modern. You can park valet $45 a night or $30 in the same parking garage in the hotel. Pool area very large and clean, and can see the CN Tower... More

We stayed here for four nights, whilst on a road trip around Canada, it was very clean and the room was very comfortable. Very well situated for sightseeing around Toronto right next to the CN Tower, which was just outside our window, and also try the Sightseeing Bus which has a stop just down the road, very good way to... Personally I never stay in this kind of hotel if I am on holiday, because it reminds me too much of work. However, if you are in Toronto on business, this is a great business hotel, everything you need, and connected via a doorway from the lobby right into the convention centre. Lots of little secluded areas to sit for... More

This is my fav hotel in Toronto. Since I was last here they have completed the renos, and the the rooms are neutrally and crisply decorated. Love the Kuerig machine in the room! Very clean, and the beds a so comfortable...We had a great view of the lake. We had two rooms booked, one room was ready when we checked... More

Clean, spacious and comfortable room. Friendly and helpful staff. Location was fabulous however with the cost of accommodations, better attention needed for smaller details such as peeling paint on bathroom ceilings.

Stayed for three nights in a Feature room on the 19th Floor which had fantastic views of downtown Toronto. Hotel was spotlessly clean and very welcoming situated just a few steps from the CN Tower, Rogers Centre and Aquarium. It was close to Union Station for easy access to and from the airport. Our room was extremely spacious with walk-in... More

I stayed while i was on business travel, which are usually boring. But the location is in hart of the City and all major attractions are quickly accessible. It is opposite to the University and one can simply go on a stroll in the plus campus. The food is good and has variety. In all a very good experiance.

I had a two night at the hotel. The hotel is across the street from union station which is extremely convenient if you take the UP train into the city. Even though I only stayed here for a couple of days, I have to say that if you’re visiting Toronto, particularly if you’re a tourist, you seriously have to consider staying at the InterContinental. Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
