Clean room, and good service. Pool was a little dirty, but it’s understandable. I was there with my kids for a work convention, definitely a very professional/ adult hotel. Also we didn’t eat at the hotel, it’s cheaper to go out to eat :)

My wife and I just went here for our honeymoon and loved it. The view of the lake and the CN tower was beautiful and the room was nice and clean and comfortable. That staff were all super friendly and helpful also. It's also so close that you can walk right to the lake! No complaints here!

I keep coming back here and the stays are pretty consistent. Although it looks older on the outside, everything inside is up to date inside. It is nice they recently added nespresso machines in the rooms. Even in the winter, its nice to walk over to Union Station and have shopping, coffee and small eats close by. All connected mainly by the skywalk. Will always look to keep staying here.

Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, we had to cancel our upcoming trip to Toronto. We had a non-refundable payment for the whole stay, and thought we would be out over $1000. Fortunately, Todd Mavin, the guest relations manager, worked with us and was able to help us get a full refund. We really appreciate how accommodating this hotel was given the unusual situation, and we will definitely come stay here in the future.

Dear captivadude1, Thank you for taking the time to rate and review how this reservation was handled. I am so happy I was able to turn this from a negative situation to a positive outcome for you. IHG has been wonderful in ensuring our guests are not negatively affected by the worldwide pandemic by allowing certain changes to our normal policies. We hope that we will have the privilege of welcoming you back to the InterContinental Toronto Centre during your next trip to Toronto. InterContinental is my favorite brand and this one is my least favorite out of Atlanta, DC Wharf, and Grand Seoul Parnas. My preference is set away from the elevator and my room was about 12 feet from it. I only complained since the noise kept me up the first night. Also, noticeable stains on the carpet and some were quite large. They did upgrade me to a junior suite on the 23rd floor when I checked in. Eventually switched to another room on the opposite side, a little quieter but facing a major train station. Can still hear it on the 24th floor, but much better than the elevator noise. Wasn’t able to connect my smart phone to the TV to control it even though it was listed as a feature when I turned the TV on. Called front desk and they said it’s not enabled... small things. The hotel is in a great location - CN Tower just minutes away on foot, Union Station a block away, restaurants & pubs & shopping everywhere. Only took a Lyft to and from the airport - around CAD $38 each way. Used the small fitness center twice. It had everything I needed, but it could use a nice paint job and clean carpets. Had two peloton bikes, two pull-up bars, a couple of treadmills, and adequate amount of dumbbells.

Dear Luke M, Thank you for staying with us and for enumerating the good, the bad and the opportunities to improve. While we are pleased that you liked our location and gym facilities, we truly value the negative comments as this gives us the opportunity of improving what we can offer. We are sorry for the noise concerns you had brought forward and that we were not able to completely resolve the concern. We will also be look into the smart phone connection to our TV's to ensure this is operational for all guests. It is not enough for us to be just good, we want to be exceptional and even though we could not fulfill your complete expectations this time, we will continue our work to improve all our services. We do hope that this experience will not deter you from choosing to stay with us again in the future. Best regards, Todd Mavin Guest Relations Manager InterContinental Toronto Centre
